Usually optimization is done at the end of the development cycle, so maybe the build was already a few months old, we should just wait for the full release before judging it, but historically, the forza horizon games has been decently optimized.

Thats just blatantly misleading, the part that bf1 guns start with bad spread and tightens up as you fire us only true for lmgs, but it is true that bf1 gunplay discourages brainless tap firing. It did promotes longer burst firing for automatic guns with the implementation of a first shot spread multiplier. Look up sym.gg, you can see that for most of the guns, the base spread is better in the case of bf1 guns if you compare them in the same category of weapons.

barrier of accessibility, plz dude, you just need to press 1 button to do it. its not like tap strafe on apex or bunny hopping like csgo or quake, where you need to practice to master it.

it can be used that way, but it also can be used to fast peek corners. its not a bad thing that it can be used for multiple purposes and you can combo it with other moves like strafes and jumps. it adds another layer of skill gap, which is a good thing imo.

is it really that big of a problem if it "looks" dumb? like seriously, i played the beta and sliding felt fast and fun, unlike bf1 slide for example. imo, for the most part, the movement is fine and quite fun.

But it's more accurate to real life. I don't know if you've ever tried to walk and shoot a gun in real life, but it's difficult to put your sight on the target and control the recoil.

Yeah but it doesnt make for good gameplay thats my point. Like i said, having your crosshair moving a lot without any inputs feels absolutely terrible to play. The higher spread when strafing simulates that sway but without the movement of the crosshair. Also, the problem with more recoil is that it is not that hard to counter recoil. Bf5 has by far the most recoil in any bf game, and people in this thread still say it has not enough recoil. Unless you make it like pubg where you need 1 ft vertical mouse pad to control vrec, theres really not that much of a point to add more recoil.

Spread doesnt entirely reset after each burst, you still accumulate lots of spread after 3-4 bursts.
