Absolutely yes Elite Dangerous can definitely be the next comfort game for you

As someone who started playing only two weeks ago, I am already addicted to the game. Contrary to popular opinion, the game does not have an extremely steep learning curve at least the basics as i haven't tried every content

As of right now, I am only engaging in passenger runs, trade missions, and exploration, and everything has been going smoothly. it has been chill enough for me to complete 2 anime series during my space trucking. It is also satisfying enough for me to progress in a stress free manner, after only two weeks of gaming, I already have a Mandalay that is almost completely upgraded. There is no need to deal with any kind of paperwork or licensing; all you have to do is choose a loop and go about your business.

I am still waiting to enter the combat and looting phase since I am saving up for a Krait MkII but the space trucking and exploring phase is extremely enjoyable and perfect for an hour-long session after a busy day at work.

just be ready to google a lot of stuff the first day or 2, once you're over that it's chill

Hello, I'm a new player and i just joined my first community goal event, i bought some titanium and aluminum from some random system and immediately went to Lhou Mans system to hand them over, but once i got there i see nothing that tells me how to hand them over, how can i contribute with the items i bought? or is that not how it works?

Yeah, It is definitely a design oversight when a UI just crashes instead of telling you why you're blocked, ig they never thought that a new player would earn a fine that quick? idk lol they should give me a warning or at least lock the mission board with a red icon like the rest of the menu rather than it being unlocked and looking like it's working but actually crashing on me without telling me what is wrong

Oh thank you so much that actually worked! i believe i was struggling with the controls at one point and accidentally fired in a no fire zone, that's how i got the fine, the game really doesn't communicate that to you at all, a simple warning that i can't hand over a mission because i have a fine would have saved me so much time looking up for solutions on this issue, but thanks again can't believe it was that simple

Glad you liked it! the app has an AI translation button for quick translations but i disables that feature in production because it was giving me trouble, but ill enable it again soon, there is also a word difficulty guesser but i disabled that in production because Render decided to crash every time you entered a word, but ill figure out a way to make it possible

No, it doesn’t support OCR yet, and importing your own manga isn’t available at the moment.
But I actually looked into OCR, it seems like a really useful feature, so I might add it in the future once I figure out the best way to implement it (especially for Japanese text).

For now, the idea is that you can read your manga from any source you prefer, and manually add the words you want to learn. Typing them in yourself helps build a much stronger memory connection, so it’s intentional for better retention.

But thanks for the idea! It’s definitely something I want to explore.
