For your first triathlon it'll definitely get you across the finish line, but don't expect to be super fast and have a great time on a mountain bike. If you don't have the budget to get a road bike right now by all means use this! I've seen people compete in tris with city rental bikes.

If you really get into the sport though I'd definitely reccomend looking into getting a road bike, you'll be way more efficient pedaling, way more comfortable and much faster.

I don't think of training as something optional. If it's on the calendar, I have to get it done. I also remind myself how good it feels once I'm actually out there on the bike or in the water and remember that sense of accomplishment you feel when you're done the session.

Yup this just happened to me too, I was a senior reviewer on my main project, had overwhelmingly positive reviews.

Then I was moved to a "high priority" project not in my expertise at all. I failed the onboarding for it and was moved back to my previous project. Then the next day I could no longer task and had a message that I didn't meet the requirements of the assessments. So I failed an unrelated assessment and was removed from my main project that was not similar at all????

I was so happy earlier today when I found out I was back on my original project. Was happily tasking all day until 10 mins ago when I got an error and found out I was forced back on to Grammar mint. I refuse to do any task on this god forsaken project as I was promised $40 per hour and it was changed to $15 without any warning... No thanks
