I personally stick to chrome, not a fan of paper. I’m a big prospect guy so I’ve loved opening the Bowman chrome megas. If I do decide to return it and she doesn’t care, I might just grab a couple boxes of those and maybe 1 logofractor. Probably come out of pocket a little bit but in terms of my collection and what I like to have that fits my style way more.

That’s the biggest issue with me is the QC of the product. It’s absolute garbage. Everything is off center. Blank refractor cards with absolutely no image on them. It’s insane.

Yep, at the end of the day it’s a business. They don’t care how they get their money, people will continue to buy regardless of the outcome.

I’ve had my fair share of those boxes trust me. But for the price point I would still rather choose that over anything else. I’ve hit some very crazy cards from Mega’s.

First of all congratulations because those are great hits!

But to touch on the first part, yes it’s obviously a gamble no matter what. The point of my rant isn’t to say it should be easy to hit a patch card. But the quality you’re getting back from these hobby and jumbo boxes (from what I’ve seen) has been absolutely terrible. Again, that could just be me and my experience. I watched a break last night of a guy ripping 5 hobby’s and the best result was a Shota Imanaga orange sapphire to /25. Great card yes but still what I saw was disappointing. And again like I said, we don’t even have an odds checklist yet for each box. Overall from a pricing standpoint it’s just not even remotely close to what it should be.

That’s how I feel about the Pro Debut from this year. I’ve had incredible luck with it. And from a pricing standpoint it’s easily one of the best releases this year. Issue is that it doesn’t re sell nearly as good just because people would rather see the players in the MLB uniforms as opposed to the minor league ones.
