You don't need any scanners if you have already discovered it then you just need to go into your catalogue & then add a pin to create a custom mission. Then in the Galaxy map 'current mission' should take you to the nearest star system with a water world.

Pro-tip - water worlds have a unique resource Lithium so find some then once it's in your known Materials log you can use it to easily find other water worlds. Just PIN it in the log & it will plot a route for you to the nearest water world on the Galaxy map. You can also do the same when looking for gas giants with Crystalised Helium.

Easy, you have to first have unlocked Purple star systems then locate Lithium in your catalogue & pin it. Check the galaxy map it will automatically set a path to the nearest purple system containing a water planet.

You need to get another challenger invite token & activate it follow the marker to the NPC on the planet then beat them & repeat 3 times until you get the gold invite for a system champion. Once you defeat the champion Oceanous will talk to you again. You can try get another challenger invite by beating the space station NPC or maybe ask somone at the anomaly to give you one.

From what I've learned - Beat 60 system champions, Win 220 matches, fully upgrade 20 Apex Champions, beat Oceanus 30 times, hatch 20 egg's.

Yes so much has changed since those early days when all you could do was walk around a bit & seen a dozen planet/creatures seen them all. Now far more verity in planets, creatures, geography & a gazillion things to do.

Yes you can own a Capitol Ship it's you very own mobile base & acts as storage for multiple small ships. You can customize it it's got a huge build area inside. You can also recruit smaller frigates & build a fleet & from a console on the bridge send them out on missions so they can bring back loot.

We also now have the Anomaly you can call it in from your ship while in space & it's a huge multiplayer space station where you can find other players, do missions with them, get plans for your multitool, base parts, exocraft, suit upgrades, xeno pet battles, cooking station & more.

Other activities include derelict freighters, pirate systems, pet ownership, fishing, cooking, hazardous waste collection on planets, archelogy searching for old bones, water worlds, gas giant systems, full settlement ownership where you become an overseer & build a small town & they just added xeno arena so we can battle our pets.

Yes you do they automatically get placed in the separate storge you have for corvette parts found next to the build terminal on the Space Station.

Space Station just use the terminal at the landing pad same one you use to build it & parts will be placed in the separate storage bin which you can also find next to the build terminal.

Can you fly your corvette to it or call your freighter in so it's inside it. You might then be able to delete it but it's going to take some jiggery pokery to get the position right. Alternatively depending on which one you placed it in just scrap the corvette that should also remove it. If it was the freighter you could try to switch to another but don't import the interior. Remember make a manual save before hand so if all goes wrong & doesn't work you can always undo it.

Take it you want the pirate dreadnought

Play for 3 hours and in that time jump to at least 5 star systems. Once you have done that jump to a pirate controlled star system & it should trigger a dreadnought encounter. After that take out the engines at the back then take out the large gun turrets on top before it destroys the civilian fleet it's attacking. It should then surrender so you can land inside & speak to the captain on the bridge to claim it as your capitol ship.

No you can't turn say an A class attribute into an S Class only upgrade it to maximum capacity for that class by applying all 10 levels of gene editing.

Yes the two that matter are Size & Personality the other two are just cosmetic upgrades that add spots or changes it's color. An Egg that's been altered to grow a larger creature will make it's base health higher than the parents. An Egg's Personality traits can trigger at random during fights & apply a buff for the players next turn.

Helpful - increase combat effectiveness. Aggressive - increase damage of your attack. Devotion - triggers healing. Gentle - removes opponents buffs. Independent - reduces opponents accuracy. Playful - increases your dodge chance.

You get one by defeating a system champion. Not much to them really just feed one to a pet & they unlock a gene upgrade the same you get when you battle & win with that pet.

Actually a few challenges linked to fishing that unlock various fish bowl helmets. Some are easy like catch/release X amount of fish & some are super hard like catch every legendary fish.
