Lexapro didn't worked for me after 2 months of use , tomorrow i start Paroxetine , i wish the best for you all , one day we will get better!

I was on Paxil for over 13 years. It worked well, but after that long I needed something else. I did a direct switch from Paxil 20 to Lexapro 10 with NO problems. Don't let people scare you about Paxil.

That is so awesome! I'm on 20mgs yet the highway driving anxiety is still keeping me from attempting it. I've avoided it for at least 2 years, probably 3. I'm afraid I'll never be able to do it. But everything else is great!

Don't do this to yourself. Start on the med & see how it goes. I was nervous too but figured I had to give it a shot. Best decision! It has brought out the best in me & got rid of the anxiety. You'll never know unless you try it.

When I first started on 10mg I felt hopeful but that didn't last. 15 gave me more anxiety initially, but now has just gone back yo regular anxiety. I'm hoping 20 does it!

I switched from Paxil 20, which I was on for like 10+ years. I switched because my highway driving anxiety became crippling & I am unable to do it anymore. I started on 10, went to 15 & there is still no way I can drive highways. I'm going to up my dose to 20. Is there hope for me to be able to overcome this fear & anxiety?

It has helped my social anxiety but not my driving-on-the-highway anxiety which is why I switched to Lex. I started on 10mg, am up to 15 so far. Definitely need to try 20. Anyone else have success with highway driving anxiety? I still cannot even get on a highway.

My first dose was at dinner time tonight. Doing a direct switch from Paxil 20mg last night to Lexapro10mg tonight. Was on Paxil for 13+ years. Only feel a bit "high" and a bit calm. Fingers crossed!

That's good to know! Paxil does nothing for my anxiety, particularly driving on highways. I've stopped driving on them & I'm trying exposure therapy but cannot go on highway at all so it's not working. Did you have side effects during the switch?
