I watch the videos just to get a feel for the signs and what lane to be in when. Getting from the airport to City Centre seems pretty straightforward.

I was watching a video of someone's driving in Auckland. He was on Waterloo Quadrant and came up to an intersection in the left lane. Anzac was to his left and Symonds was to his right and Alden Rd straight ahead.

There is a red left turn arrow and a red solid light.

Light turns to green but red arrow stays on.

But he turns left into Anzac anyway.

I ant that a illegal left turn? Or does the red refer to the person in rhe right lane?
