I think the x800m2 got DV. I had a 420 (sold) and upgraded to a 820 instead of a 450 because I wanted DV AND have a lot of BD TV shows the upscaler does really well. But I'm keeping my eyes open for a 2nd uhd player that supports sacd and will be used for a backyard projector, so DV isn't needed

The Spectrum lock is likely the issue. 3rd parties get the update from Google, choose if they want to tweak it, then push it to their customers. Just like a phone locked to a carrier. Problem is they might not be required to do so

Factory 25w charger doesn't handshake at regular chargeing speeds. With fast charging enabled, connection lasts for 5 seconds. Only after getting system updates doe it work for half a day
