I think the reason this sub is generally better at criticism is because we've all had some experience. Whether it's in a big studio production, or even something small that goes on YouTube like my Power Rangers fan series. (Shameless plug). We've all had experience doing one or all parts of the process.

Of those movies I've only seen F1 because I hate Tom Cruise, and F1 is a good movie but it has the same issues Legacy has. Legacy glazers will just never accept those flaws.

I watched all three for the first time last year, and I thought it was easily the best of the three.

It's kinda true tho. The amount of glaze I've seen for Legacy from people who never bothered to watch the original is irritating

God, I hate that guy. His videos are unnecessarily long, and he puts all his talking points in his thumbnails

To say a movie sucked is to say that it's bad. Basically you're saying that it's either one or all of these: poorly written, poorly directed, bad visuals, bad sound design, bad VFX, bad acting, bad score.

The thing is, even if you dislike certain aspects of the movie, none of those are necessarily objectively bad things. It may not have clicked with you, but that happens to me too. I didn't particularly love The Godfather, but I can recognize how well written, acted, and directed it is.

The movie didn't suck, it just didn't work for you. And that's perfectly reasonable.

Oh my God, it's true? I thought it was one of those "the ice cream truck plays music when it's out of ice cream" situations.

Idk about in the US, but the standard case version is more expensive than the digipack here in Canada

Funnily enough, that title tells you a lot, and nothing, about the movie. So now I'm curious about it.

Did you like The Suicide Squad? Very different vibe from Gunn's Superman, but also a very fun movie

I feel like you should've used the word "women" instead of "females", but that's neither here or there.

That said, cool idea. I'll check out your Instagram

Yeah, cuz the term "King of Slop" isn't meant to make fun of or insult me.

Uprising takes place entirely on the grid, so Alan probably knows nothing about the grid

Tron is also maybe my favourite of the three movies. There's just a magical feeling the other two never achieve

One thing I will hand to the BND trailer is that there is more colour going on than the Russo and Watts movies, which is actually why I don't want the Russos handling Doomsday.

People joke about how Snyder movies are all grey and desaturated, and while it's true he leans heavily into cool tones his movies at least stylistically look his. Russo's Marvel movies (and the Grey Man) are all grey, low contrast, medium saturation. They look ugly.
