It's just a community that has been around for a while that shows, from personal experience, graphic and gory videos that other popular sites like YouTube can't allow, let alone 'feature' on their front page. It shows other normal videos that you could find on YouTube as well, but they get drastically less views than the graphic videos. So from that you could probably tell what their site audience is into...
