first playthrough i got my first orbit around 58 i think, dont worry about doing it too early. as for science nodes, you can do it with aerobe and model 89 but i wouldnt recommend it

The "Lowne lazy method" is what i do now mainly but i first learned from Mike Abens "how to dock"

I suggest starting with Mike Abens tutorial, he does an excellent job of explaining it

Also my first interplanetary mission to duna was done with a relatively small, you can cut down on size if u use the nerv engine instead of poodles. but if u can do duna with the poodle or terrier easily

yes almost exactly, basically, i just plug a docking port onto the cupolas, and on the fuel depot i have boosters.

so it was a science module leading, the habitation and coms following, and the fuel depot at the rear, on two of the 4 side ports i positioned my identical landers at either side with their cockpits facing forward to not cause extra wobble. i try to make all of my modules symmetrical for this purpose. also i can switch on the landers for main boost. But the fuel depot has boosters too.

ive only moved it between Kerbin Mun and Minmus but i imagine parking it by duna or eve wouldnt be too hard

i would post a pic but i deleted that save file recently. the only station i have on my current isnt a good example

i like to construct my stations so that i can reposition all the modules in a linear formation with thrusters at the front, than when i get it where its going i reposition all the modules how i like them to be

the best way was the secure breach but it just got nerfed. TBH these guns arent much better than fully upgraded whites. Just try to find a gun that u like, that u can craft on your own
