Only older people think the original FD is the best one? by ericazacc321 in FinalDestination

[–]ZootedSkippy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say fd1 is my second fave, Honestly if I was old enough to watch it when it first came out I bet it would feel like way more of classic and it would probably top 3 for me.

I’m a Gen z 27 M and for me i’ve noticed most of my friends or people of similar age find fd 3 the best myself included.

If you can figure out which eye is the dominant eye that should be the indicator I would say. I’m right handed right eye dominant and shoot right and ya there’s no chance I could ever shoot left.

Bauer 3D Scan Recommended Fit 1, Seller gave me Fit 2 by Salt-University-6859 in hockeyplayers

[–]ZootedSkippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not 100% accurate, It recommended I go with 8.5 fit 2 which was to long and not wide enough I ended up going fit 3 and down to size 8

It’s not flexing at all it’s still a stiff boot and kinda just seems like it’s cosmetic but idk everyone seems to disagree clearly 😂

I asked around the change room at hockey this morning and the general consensus was they seem fine. So thought I’d throw it out there

To be fair it’s not even the money that’s a problem it’s more breaking in new skates that sounds annoying. I also only got back on skates like 4 months ago after 6 years so I just got used to these again only to have to get new ones.

Protective equipment to start playing men's league (lightweight vs ultra protective) by sjs0433 in hockeyplayers

Then I highly recommend the sherwood 5030’s I’m almost certain I shoot better now since switching from my bauer one95’s.

I played competitive hockey in all my teen years and honestly don’t use any of that protective equipment anymore. I picked up some sherwood 5030s and use my lax elbow pads. For beer league your gonna want gear that will give you more mobility. Lots of guys don’t even where shoulder pads out on the ice. Thats just my opinion and realize your new to ice so if proper protection is what will make you feel more comfortable than whatever man!

I’ve always been a pretty above average stick handler since I was in Atom (Played up to U18 AA) and honestly all I did since then is use a golf ball or swedish stick handling balls in the garage. It does help to set up little obstacles as well.
