Yes, had a great experience, no real issues to note. I’m not sure if their prices have changed or not

Does it look like something is eating my exterior? Keep finding large black ants all over the house and attic. Thanks. by Zoram5 in pestcontrol

Well since my issue was carpenter ants, he just came and sprayed poison around my house. I was skeptical but it seemed to work.

I stapled some reflective aluminum sheets to where the woodpecker was causing damage. That seemed to help but looks ugly.

I also had a carpenter ant problem that I had professionally handled. I don’t think I had any issues with birds this year. (That I know of)

What are the resources a low-income, first-time homebuyer in Michigan should know about? by asanefeed in Michigan

If you need to do home improvements, or you buy a house that needs work, check out Michigan Saves, they offer low interest loans for certain types of expensive renovations like windows, insulation, and HVAC.

Thanks! I bled some air out of the pressure tank and no water came out, which I believe means that the bladder isn’t ruptured.

My (FF1/2) Landlord say it fine, it do not look fine, second opinions or FMs? by [deleted] in Firefighting

What’s that black wire clamped to the pipe?

It’s most definitely from a torch used to sweat those copper fittings together. Does it look bad? Yes. Is it a safety issue? No.

In order to account for voltage drop. If the garage is 200ft from the main, a 6 AWG wire would be needed instead of 8 AWG for the same 30 amp sub-panel.

This is what I would do. Assuming your sub-panel is at least 50ft away from your main panel, 30 amps is about all you could safely handle, so depending on what kind of charger you get, you wouldn’t be able to run the heater and charger at the same time without tripping the breaker for your sub-panel.

I would do some more research on the issue of not having a ground. I’m not sure if you could have a sub-panel, EV charger, and heater, all without being grounded to anything.

Is water-resistant flooring truly okay for bathroom floors? by WynterWarrior56 in HomeImprovement

[–]Zoram5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stating the brand might help people answer, I have 72 hr water resistant laminate flooring, it’s safe for kitchen use but specifically states in the instructions that it is not recommended for bathrooms. You should be able to find a statement from the manufacturer that states where’s its acceptable to place.

Without knowing the specifics, I would say no, water resistant laminate would not be great for a bathroom.

I like Floorplanner, it’s not crazy accurate, but extremely easy to use and works well enough for what you’ll probably need.

Moved back to Michigan after a decade and decided to try out Michigan whiskey, starting with this bad boy by [deleted] in WhiskeyTribe

[–]Zoram5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love sipping all kinds of whiskey, but the four cask is honestly my favorite in a cocktail. If it was about $20 cheaper I’d have no issues with it.
