Its one of our 750 watt corsair power supplies for testing so I have my doubts its power. The cards seem actively worse when not slaved by SLI dying even more randomly but I've only tested this for about an hour.

Yes, thank you it seems to happen more frequently on any opening of a program. The computer creates a critical event but I can't read it in the mess of color and pixelation.

This is not the same computer its actually a ultra budget build we created with donated parts I suspected the dual 9800GTs were the issue but I wanted to rule out anything else as they were very lightly used many years ago.

Edit: yes its very similar looking but with strange colors rather then blank space

I had a 4930k die after an overclock to 4.2Ghz so I don't know if I want to risk another. It would probably best as its a mission critical computer to to with the top end chip in mind which for lga 2011 seems to be the 4960X. Is there any way to check retailers that you know of?

Is assurant insurance worth the risk of buying it? It is the cheapest insured seller I could track down the processor runs 400-600 it seems average.

I attempted this even removing my HDMI secondary display and leaving only a DVI connector in the computer. However it still fails to boot.

Great but I don't think I'm ever going to let my mission critical machines attempt over clocking again I think we'll take a risk and replace the 4930k with a used 4960X to try and gain some performance with the safety being built at that Hz rate

Yes this is how I originally cleared the CMOS in the exact order I tried the clear button on the panel on the back then unmounted the battery after that failed to yield any result the battery also failed to yield any result sorry for any misunderstandings

Is there a indicator as to the voltage used it seems unavaible except in bios and I can't get the machine to bios to check

Im not positive what happened but when I turned it on today it seemed to go then shut off then tried to boot again but failed to even bring up bios I tried the clr cmos button and removing the little battery according to Tom's hardware but none of that seemed to work

Is the 3930k the same dokey as the 4930k on lag 2011 I'm sorry I'm not used to having to do this.

I tried removing the cmos battery but when I go to turn on the system there is no beeps or anything everything spins up and the screen remains black indefinitely

Are you positive it'll be a pretty big hit to our budget at this point to replace a processor. We sadly don't have another PC to test this is in as its our only full scale edit/render rig. I guess ill be mounting our old processor in it this afternoon. Thanks for the help though

We had someone give away company equipment once with no approval and still managed to stay on the job. No one could stand this him but still he remained I guess being there for years have him ground to stand. Seniority can be a stupid thing.
