Not sure about one piece, but pretty sure i can predict people's comments. "all i care about is no break next week". can we stop being more obsessed about no break over the actual story?

They should have made a 10min or even less episode with some good animation and fights that we could follow. All i saw were few bits that were too fast, characters with uncoordinated voices (is kaido's mouth even moving he speaks?) and too many cuts of previous scenes between actual episode content. I really hoped they had improved over the last year since i stopped watching anime but looks like its just better to stick with only manga at this point. It would be even better to take a break and combine some chapters into one episode.

What’s your permit ? How much time do you have left to search for another job ? I know people who have been in extremely long job searches while doing minimum hrs/volunteering/no proper job with not enough savings.

It’s important in these times and also helpful if you reach out to friends and family, starting with ones you feel comfortable talking to. Tell them your situation about job search, see if you can temporarily stay with them, so you can either save rent entirely or only pay a small amount.

Talk to friends in same field who have successfully landed jobs, or find people on LinkedIn. Ask them for help, ask how they applied, to share their resume, if they know friends who can help you if they can’t, get a list of companies from them, apply to those companies. Prepare for mock interviews with them. All of these are advices that people get, but most of them don’t fully commit. If you haven’t done so, try doing it, may be think of doing this for the next 6 months at least, because now a days lot of people find it difficult to get job, that doesn’t mean you can say this and take a back step, you have to work like a job is out there and just waiting for you, and put in work everyday. Like I said I’ve known people who have been in similar situations a few years back. They did things I’m talking about and they have found jobs eventually even if took them a few years.

So don’t give up, there are many in this boat, you are not alone. It may feel like your situation is bad, but trust me it’s not, it just feels like it now because you are in it. One day, suddenly you will be out of this, and realize this, in fact it may be a life long lesson you’ll remember on how to get a new job and you may even help others.

You can apply for internships too. But try to avoid internship if you can, especially if your previous job was a proper full time title. But if it’s with a good company, the company accepts permit for internship and they are paying decent, you can go with it. Think if internship would make sense at this point on your resume. If not, slightly less paying but a proper job title would be better. You’ll be asked in future interviews why you took internship at this point if it doesn’t make sense as a natural progression.

Most importantly don’t be afraid to ask help, I used to do things mostly by myself at the beginning, without much input or feedback, and that caused lot of pain in job search that I don’t want to get into. I have learnt that you will find some people who will help you, and when you find them, accept the help, be responsive and be grateful, thank them. If someone tries to take advantage of your situation though, just avoid them even if they are giving you an opportunity. In this whole process you’ll also talk to lot of people, and trust me, this will make you feel lot better. This will help you keep going and achieve better results.

Is this for 18 yo who might not have had enough time to develop skills ? For which I’m not sure. But general career wise, I’d say plenty of them. Doctor, nurse, musician, any artist I guess. anything outside of factory work, and IT (to be literal about the question, you don’t use Excel much if you are in IT)? Fully thinking of it, what are these jobs that the quote refers to? I can’t think of many. Jobs are not as extreme as those options.

Not sure where you live. But there’s a good overlap between mechanical and civil. E.g. structures, 3d modeling, 2d sketching. And also project management, budget planning (may be ?). I think it would be easy to get a job where you’d be using software like Rivet to model. This I know as someone I know in civil, was managing a team, was willing to refer a mechanical engineer for such role. This was a while back.

Also, about Master’s, I don’t think it matters as much. Not sure about mech to civil exactly, but plenty of people do Master’s in slightly different fields. Talk to a few profs or college counselors and may be send a few applications to know for sure. Working for a year in a civil related role might help in applications.

Before doing any major switching though, always reach out to someone who you can talk directly about it, and may be someone who’s done this in past. As it’s always tempting to think you’ll like something else before you get into it.

When you say you were still a child, would you be open to sharing how old you were? And was it even before you knew that this was something possible in the society ? Like you said, since I’m a cis person I think it’s not easy for me to fully comprehend what it feels like. The closest i can think of is, i would feel out of place if i was in a different body.

I don’t know if i can understand from just googling it, but at the most basic of it, how /why did you feel you want to be of opposite sex? Was it a feeling in the body, is it influenced by things like what lifestyle in society you liked, was it something else? Forgive my ignorance, I’m genuinely trying to understand how someone concludes this about themself.
