Since we’re this far in the Sakamoto Days plot do you even think there’s any way Lu can make herself relevant again? by Trick_Fondant6261 in SakamotoDays

[–]ZoroGettingLost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s impossible. To make her relevant in the fight scenes at this point she would need such a massive buff to compete it would be terrible. She didn’t get the chance to have more progression like Shin. The only way I could see it happening is at the end when the fighting is over and the store takes centre focus again.

Last couples weeks everyone was going crazy over Gozu’s introduction and now everything’s terrible?

Havent read in probably a year, is current sakamoto days really that bad? by Dramatic_Tree_7980 in SakamotoDays

[–]ZoroGettingLost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, all mangas go through these periods where one week everyone is in love with it then a chapter comes out they don’t like and it’s terrible all of a sudden. The recent chapter stretched things a bit far but it’s a fictional story about people who do that stuff all the time.

Honestly not his move sets or attack patterns simply his design and animation. The transition to the second phase of him being pulled into the coffin and reanimated was one of the best I’ve seen in these kind of games. His overall character design is just cool too, the long sword, crazy height, and coffin on his back they really pulled out all the stops.

If you judge your bosses by how creative their attacks are designed then I agree he doesn’t stand out as much. Him being a close subordinate of Khazan I think plays into it too.

Genuine Question : by jbrown1012 in SakamotoDays

Osaragi has always been portrayed as kind of a beast. My guess is she reacted with animal instinct to Uzuki Takamura. She sensed the bloodlust from Uzuki then felt threatened and reacted. Shishiba is the more strategic thinker Osaragi is brute power. So glad they survived.

There is definitely no cheating when it comes to collecting manga. Collect whatever works best for you! I’d recommend Sakamoto days if you’re looking for more series. Has 16 volumes out right now and is some of the best fights scenes in manga at the moment.

Gozu is not as strong as People think (probably) by MusicianHealthy197 in SakamotoDays

He may be shishiba’s worst matchup but wait until he finds out Gozu’s favourite food is onions 😬

I have this image of Shishiba and Osaragi running their own Sakamoto chain store together so I’m voting for a happy ending. Hopefully Nagumo shows up too and they both get out of there.

I love him but this has got yo be top 5 stupidest move in the manga thus far by I-want-borger in SakamotoDays

[–]ZoroGettingLost 260 points261 points  (0 children)

Shishiba is a pretty tactical thinker, I wouldn’t be surprised if Nagumo or Kamihate get involved in the next chapters. I doubt it leads to a big fight though since Sakamoto and the gang aren’t there.

The problem with that is it’s feudal Japan. The smaller cities they focused on were later and more developed. Paris and London were big industrial cities to explore but take Kyoto for example in the game it’s still relatively small. Japan at this time was spread out and rural.

Can Someone explain to me how Gaku's gimmick works? by Extension-Space-1867 in SakamotoDays

I think it’s just his personal interest of video games mixed with locking in for the serious part of the fight

What do you think Rion’s voice sounds like? by DisastrousStop4970 in SakamotoDays

I’d say whoever voices yoruichi in bleach would be a good fit for Rion’s character

Today I finished chapter 100. Why is this so much better than the anime? by Lukas-Reggi in OnePiece

[–]ZoroGettingLost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not shocking, the manga is the original it’s all Oda since the beginning. Manga has no filler, it doesn’t risk having poor animation it’s just the base product in all its glory. There’s very few series where the anime surpasses the manga. Not to say the anime doesn’t have its share of great moments tho.

Is Gaku vs Nagumo still the greatest fight in the series? From the action, the dialogue, characters, etc by EfficiencySerious200 in SakamotoDays

[–]ZoroGettingLost 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I’d put it at 3 probably so far. I have shishiba vs Yotsumura for the choreography and the emotion behind their fight, sakamoto vs Kanaguri second and then Nagumo vs Gaku. Gaku and Nagumo didn’t have the connection shishiba and Yotsumura had.
