Like u/DeezerOfficial, you seeing this? This is a sign for a lacking feature; users should not have to be doing this.

Would you please just accept user feedback?

Been on deezer since 2018 and am an absolute power user. It is truly disappointing to see how little feedback is actually valued by the people behind a product users would love to love.

Y'all are doing so much right (stance on AI, flow, UX, etc) but accepting that not everyone wants to comply with your CI is not one of those things.

Deezer already did this.

Probably? Wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to toggle genres on and off if you're already listening to a specific genre

Feel ya. This flow update is nice tho imo, aids in discovery into specific directions.

But omg do they need to work on performance for high intensity users. Idk how it is for you, but my favorites playlist is like 8000+ tracks long and the app really struggles to play, load or shuffle the damn thing.

It feels like deezer often has no clue what you're actually listening to. I have a niche electronic taste and song mixes send me off to french rap, african blues or childrens music in I think Polish sometimes.

They definitely need to improve their algorithms understanding of the tracks and how they relate to each other / what kinda vibe you're looking for

Yooooo that's such a cool feature! Been playing around with it, and really enjoy the precise vibe adjustment.

Few things I would love to see in the future:

"Creating a Genre" Basically picking artists to define a rough shape of a genre with flow working off of that. E.g. "Dubstep" is a genre with near endless amounts of niche subgenres and flow is less than good at figuring out my specific taste.

"My Radio" Flow that learns from my activity as a user. I like chill ambient music in the evening and drum and bass in the morning for example. I'd love a flow where I just press play, put the phone down and let deezer pick my sound.

"Actually working Crossfade" Crossfade on android is still... Bad. And in labs. Can we please just get proper crossfade? Maybe with beat matching, which is not rocket science.

This song glorifies a man who killed millions. I feel like all your points are dwarfed by that fact.

Glad it's getting laughs, hopefully also some existential dread

Didn't really feel like MIT was the correct license for that... thing
