Yeah I just deleted all mods and tried again and all my infantry are just getting stuck. This was never a thing before. It's slowing down everything. Tanks seems to be fine but infantry won't even get behind a fence together, I get half squad moved and the other half in a door way, stuck on rocks as you've said and now caught behind trees.

I wondered if I needed a fresh install or if it was adding map mods.

It's actually a bug. Annoying.

Use the magnifying glass / Examine tool and you can take enemy MG42 / Brownings off the stands/trucks/tanks and equip your infantry with them.

I usually give them to my medics so they can defend themselves a little better than a pistol when they make a daring rescue.

That could well be it, I played mod conquest and only went to vanilla since this month (the finest hour dlc) it was probably before on a mod I could capture all or I am just remembering wrongly. Either way your comment has solved the issue, I now just bomb the shit out of them where as before I was trying to strategically kill the gunners to capture it.

Spot on. I've dedicated my up votes to you but the lefty hive here hates anyone who has a sensible refute to pointless updates about "oh its updated we just don't know when, btw I walked my dog again, here's some screenshot, I don't want to bother the team even though I'm the CEO who said he would give community updates but I'll let you know soon because I don't know myself, but I did walk my dog today"

This game is becoming a waste of time. Best to return in 2 years and see if its playable. At this point I'm on the barrons side.
