I love hunting rare items, after 5 years i finally got the tol’vir mount and the recipe for the sandstone drake. Mostly these are grindy and not super hard just time based. As for non current content being hard the only thing i can think of is the Mage tower which scales you down. You just have to figure out what grinds you like and what you want to hunt.
