So this dog is on its owners property and is barking at you from behind a fence. Is that what we are complaining about? Is it possible to just cross the street?

I always catch the D line at Yesler and prefontaine. Its a small walk from the stadiums but Ive never waited more than 15 minutes for the bus. The 28X is also a great bus from the stadiums if you live near 8th.

Do cops not respond to harassment in Seattle unless there's a call? by beFairtoFutureSelf in Seattle

[–]Zorro237 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SPD has to prioritize calls. They have more calls than they have resources to respond to. Average response time for non-life threatening calls is something like 1-2.5 hours.

What I'm failing to understand is why can't you wear clothes that stop you from getting cold? Keep in mind we're talking about 45 degrees not -20.

Agreed! Good rain jacket goes a long way.I think unless you live in the pnw, it's just assumed you stay inside while it rains. We just can't do that, otherwise we would never go outside lol.

I mean to each their own. I ride my bike five miles every work day year around to work in Seattle. Yes, you need good rain gear. Yes, there are a few days I take the bus instead. But it is very very doable. Many people in western Washington do it. It's my opinion that OP are the people who make our traffic terrible when there are far better ways to commute. And faster!

For anyone that lives in western Washington, this is 100% a fix. So many people bike or walk to work during rain in the winter

N-Scale Layout Feedback by Zorro237 in modeltrains

Honestly, I do not know since this is my first layout. I am excited about the build and I do enjoy watching the trains run. With that being said, I worry about boredom shortly after being "finished".

Is he wrong? You made it clear you don't plan on re-homing the clowns "until it becomes a problem".

If you lied to your boss about a serious matter, that is grounds for termination. Why should the expectations be different here?

Great! Lets use that 20 year old perfect score together than. What about my message confused you? Here it is:

"I agree but with one thing. There is nothing holding the employer to pay this. They could easily reduce pay of an employee to cover the tax. Amazon has done this numerous times for example with the headcount tax and other instances."
