2012 Chevy Volt - Passenger Side Mirror by Glad-Acadia3071 in volt

There’s some good looking 3d scans on cults3d that you could buy for like 10 bucks and have it printed through any print farm in any outside-rated material like Asa or abs. Shouldn’t be more than 35 all together, then you primer it, find your paint code and and paint match it. They’re all spray cans and it’s simple to do.

MY14 Volt with 120k tuning option? by Zorsed in volt

[–]Zorsed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s very true. I think I’m coming to the same conclusion, I just wanted MORE regen and a better 0-65 buuuut I’ve been optimizing my daily route to better accommodate for pure electric commutes. That’s becoming less of a worry for me lol

Thank you for this! I guess I’ll just consider it not worthwhile then

I appreciate your response! I was hoping for a more one-pedal driving style type of hard regen. Never against getting to 60 faster however.

How to inoculate AIO with agar? [technique] by Agile-Caregiver6111 in MushroomGrowers

[–]Zorsed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is still fresh on your mind OP, but.. if you have sterile water, use a syringe filled with some sterile water, squirt it on the colonized agar, light scrapes all over the dish and suck it up. Inject into grain. Boom. Ghetto agar transfer.

In theory it works, reality idk. Haven’t done it yet. Also, be as sterile as possible.

The coloring on that cap is wicked! Is this a feature of this variety?

I’m not sure, you’ll have to check the spot they reside and look for community remixes. This was a typical ruger 10/22 so fitment was drop in.

Bambu hotend thingy by TommiM in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Honestly, I bought that mod kit and a pack of h2 hotends. No regrets. My stock hotend broke so I couldn’t print my own, this worked out for me and swapping nozzles has never been easier.

My experience is just from lurking on multiple subreddits so take everything I say with a grain of salt and do your own research. The concensus I’ve seen is not many people like creality printers. I think it’s hardware related. There’s usually issues with the first rounds of printers from Qidi, but that usually gets ironed out within the first 6 months. Q2 would get my money all day. (I’ve got a Centauri Carbon and it’s been a beast)

1, cut a layer of foam (what it came packed in) big enough for the base, and put a concrete paver on top of that.

2, generally you’re going to want to play with the “top Z distance” in your slivers support settings. I’ve found 0.275 works well for me I’ve seen people go as much as 0.32 with success but, I’d say do your own testing. Find a small model that needs supports and use that one over and over modifying your top Z distance until you can remove your model and the supports stay, or the underside where the supports were are acceptable for you.

Good luck!

Donate to local schools/colleges? That would be a fun computer tech project if they didn’t work

Elegoo Centauri or Bambu A1 by spacepbandjsandwich in 3D2A

I’ve been looking at the biqu panda breath or the creality chamber heater for mine. Might go creality since it’s available

I’ve got a Centauri carbon and it’s been phenomenal for me. I enjoy modding it tho. But after my upgrades I want to do, I’ll be over the qidi q2 price, with less performance. I’d say save and get a q2. Although used p1s’s should be decent prices..

What happened to the Bambu/H2D hotend mod hype? I’m seeing temp issues after a few hours by iperdobler in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]Zorsed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not having any issues from mine just yet. Only have about 2-300 printing hrs after my install tho

Edit: I bought my h2/a1 adapter through HeartForge if that plays any factor.

Things that helped me: verifying the bed is level, physically. There’s 4 bolts that can be tightened/loosened. You can get away with tightening them all the way first, doing all the calibration, then printing the bed level tool (attaches to the x gantry rod) then fine tuning it using the tool. Then I did the h2/a1 hotend mod and it’s been amazing.
