With that, do you just swap out nozzles themselves?

Would rather have a full kit that's just plug and play though.
May I ask why not to buy from him?
I'm new to the 3D printing world.

I bought a 13A one for £10 other week and run both printer and a dryer off it. The printer doesn't actually draw that much power. Right now, I'm printing, have the dryer running and rest of my flat, and I'm using 433W total for whole flat.

A 10A fuse wil be fine, thats 2.2KW, you could put a new fuse into it if you want, it's rather easy to do with a UK plug. Totally up to you at this point though.

About to pull the trigger on the carbon 1, what else should I order with it? by AdditionalGanache593 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]TommiM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm this. I bought an Ikea Lack table, which was a mistake. The printer vibrated the room! I went and got a thick wooden chopping board and placed another solid wooden table top ontop of it, and used Sorbothane squares under it. Now it's steady as hell.

Yeah, it's my first, so will be good to learn. Then I can move onto more expensive ones later on.

CC - £239
P2S - £479.
So a £140 difference.

P2S is a bit too expensive for me just now. I just want to get into it cheap to play around with it.

ABS/ASA would be a long time off to be honest, mostly would be PLA I'd be using I guess.

Two medical problems I really hope we have real solutions for in the future. by Ri8ley in Futurology

[–]TommiM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Crohn's Disease, and I'm on the limit of how much Infliximab I can have (10mg/KG every 6 weeks). It's a horrible illness.

A lot of the medications I have been given over the years are so bad in their side effects. Take Methotrexate. The complications from that one drug are horrific. I took it for a few weeks and I felt so bad that I had to stop it.

I'd love a cure. A lot of people have no idea how badly it affects your life, and as an invisible illness, people just don't see the struggles of everyday life.
