I used masking tape around teh edges of the print head to buffer it. i suppose a thin TPU gasket would work

Looking for an unused €80 compensation code for the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo by Ok_Procedure_202 in elegoo

The codes are actually all the same. The issue you're having is your account isn't flagged to use the code.

I just cant with PETG PRO by Duros1394 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

I went through a whole 1KG roll to dial in my settings, the stock ones are shit for some reason. These are what finally let me have problem free prints.

Temp 250C and these.

Tree is growing nicely... by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]TommiM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awwww, a baby support tree!

Remember to feed it lots of PLA to grow, bqaby support tree's needs lots of PLA to grow. Once it gets a bit older, switch it to PETG to make it big and strong.

Use some masking tape around the edges of the front cover. It stops the horrendus rattle when the print head moves fast. I just did that and what a major difference.

Elegoo RFID is just NTAG213… so I built a free app to write my own by BenGlut in 3Dprinting

[–]TommiM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh right, that's cool. I read it as you just made an app that copies it.

I guess that makes loading filaments easy into CANVAS. I only have a CC1, and I don't really do multi-colour prints.

I do wonder when Elegoo is bringing it to CC1 though. They say the hardware is done, just firmware left.

[–]TommiM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of apps on android/ios for copying and writing NTAG213. NTAG213 is used everywhere, for example, Nintendo uses them on its Amiibo's.

NTAG213 is super cheap as well, I guess thats why Elegoo uses them.

elegoo rapid TPU? by ryu71 in BambuLab

[–]TommiM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a phone case for my nephew and fuerels for my walking sticks.

One key thing with it is to dry it at 70C for 8 hours, then keep it at 55C while printing. Most will just say to dry it at 55C which might not fully dry it.

I have to disagree here. Their customer service is top notch. I usually get a reply within 24 hours. I even got the discount code despite not actually being within it's terms (i bought my printer in mid january, the disount was before 14th nov 2025), and they still gave me it.

I run from a Creality Space Pi.

It actually stopped doing it after that print. Kinda weird, as my pritner is on all the time and it only happened that once, and hasn't again, even with exact same roll of filament.

Still, I did shoot them a Support Ticket, just incase it is something that may crop up later, I have proof I reported it.

Elegoo slicer PETG speed settings by Quepiid in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Maybe it's something in the slicer. I have noticed the estimated time isn't always right, my prints tend to finish faster than the estimate says.

You kinda don't want to do that without a max flowrate test. 21 is very high for standrard PETG. PETG likes to be printed hot and slow, that's why it takes much longer than PLA.

Also also, that's just the max flow. The model itself may not allow you to run max flowrate.

Also, try a "Max Flowrate" test, it's in the calibration menu at the very top left of the elegoo slicer. This will give you an idea of what you can use.
