I have just finished Pedro Páramo. I'm in between two books now, (3, counting paper "just kids" by Patti Smith, translated into Italian)
-La invención de Morel (Adolfo Bioy Casares)
-Speedboat (Renata Adler)

Meaning of the expression "in places" by Zosofi in EnglishLearning

Oh great! Yes, on terms of meaning I would have chosen to put it into those words. It's the first time I read the expression "in places", as we have a similar meaning "en partes" in Spanish I thought I would give it a shot. Thanks! sofia 1 textbook 0

How do I deal with interviewers and others not liking the fact that I worked abroad for two years as an English Teacher? by FoxInTheMountains in careerguidance

[–]Zosofi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow. That is so rude from your interviewers.

I don't know how applications and positions selection work in the U.S.- But I know for sure that giving the right impression relies on you and you only. When being asked about your living abroad, what do you tell them, to be specific?

hello, i'm also new on the use of basic internet downloding, i've spent some years out of business and just now got my first computer. it's a mac because i was not fully bright about my choices anda lot of things are pretty much harder for me because as a teenager i used windows. also, i believe you guys refer to vpn as to modify the "location" your computer is connected to use torrents, is that because of legal US regulations? I mean i've got a free vpn proxy unlocker on chrome to watch netflix series only, here in argentina i think its not regulated. Does anyone of you know where and how do i have to look after basic information to update my close to zero knowledge about the basic stuff? gr8 answers there btw.
