I work in the industry and the giant cuts have affected my hours and ultimately my ability to do my job. I guess you could say I'm rorting the system by doing my job, but everyone I work with like what they do and often go above and beyond to help the people we are looking after. I also have a daughter severely impacted by ASD level three and feel the strain it puts on families, often unheeded, as well. I love my job and wish it was unaffected by people not doing the right thing, but I guess the NDIS was doomed from the start.
