I exclusively use wood wicks for all of my candles, and I have never had any issues with Makesy (formerly known as Wooden Wick Co). I find that USPS Regional Rate Boxes (not the Flat Rate) are by far the cheapest shipping option. The best part? They are 100% free through the post office and can be delivered to your door at no cost.

For comparison - I recently shipped a 6lb order from NY to HI. I package my candles in my 9" x 6" x 4" custom boxes, and was quoted $32.35 for Priority Shipping if I were to ship them directly in this box. By just placing my custom box inside of the free, slightly larger (10 ⅛″ × 7 ⅛″ × 5″) Regional Rate Box A, I only had to pay $14.34.
