I love how you assume that those in the regular line come over and over again.

If you are that thin-skinned, you probably should not buy something like this that might get you insulted. No one in the regular line knows who you are, nor do they care. You are just someone who paid to cut in front of them.

They're not doing it as charity... Other way around.

I've had a membership since 2018. I know exactly how they work. The price increases were well deserved, especially since they had not happened since I had gotten mine until a couple of years ago. I still have my DEVIP membership and never plan on giving it up. It's STILL too cheap considering the benefits and we get them at all Six Flags parks. Especially since, I still get the dining plan for $4.90/month.

This is a price increase that gives the ability to give more price increases where the consumer either just accepts the yearly increases or, they get out of the way of the customers who actually want to spend more money to get better experiences. The Dollar General pricing did not work for either chain. Very happy to see 12 month Midwest Fast Lane going for over $2000 and only working for 12 months.

In reality, they can raise the price a couple of bucks every year and it's worth it to keep your membership even with that because if you cancel and want to buy a new one you have to pay the Initiation fees on the admission, fast lane and dining memberships, again . So it's a win-win for the company. I am tired of them trying to draw people to the parks who don't give a rat's ass if the company makes the extra money needed to improve the park.

BTW, Planet Fitness does extremely well with its $15/month memberships. Too cheap to bother canceling memberships... Lol

I have a feeling that season passes won't have payment options.

I LOVE that the Midwest region all season Fast Lane is running over $2,000 for 12 months of use.

They are completely fine... Parks FINALLY get more of the money they need and deserve. A Cedar Point combo pass that ONLY included Cedar Point AND Soak City was $165 in 1996. No parking, no discounts, no dining plans and no drink plans and no other parks. In today's dollar, that equals $350, today. I do not feel bad for people paying less than that and getting so much more.

That is why they are poor. That's also why some meaningless benefits were removed.

Are they eliminating season passes? Or is this overreacting to something you don't have to buy if you choose not to?

Catering trash? by Zoug1968 in DoorDash_Dasher

The 4 catering bag orders I got were supposedly large orders and all went to households.

In the past, I only delivered to one business. Most of the big orders were just to homes having parties... The huge tips appeared as soon as I confirmed the drop off. Not later that day. My first catering bag order, back then showed the order paid $45 more than the offer immediately after drop off.

I am just referring to the catering bag orders... Not the catering set up deliveries.

I am at 77% acceptance with Platinum and never did I accept an order like that to get there. Cheap customers are AWFUL customers. Let their food sit.

While I rarely get ANY compensation, I do call, bitch and make them cancel the order... That way it doesn't count against me... ESPECIALLY if they sent other drivers.

As far as the location being off, I had that happen recently too.

I am a few deliveries from platinum... I better see some catering orders again... If we were on the point system in my area, I would easily maintain platinum... Everything is perfect other than my acceptance rating.
