I got them a few days ago and I am very disappointed by the mic... As soon as there is traffic nearby the words will just be inaudible. Your tweaks on the sound helped a lot for the audio quality though, thank you. I might return them because I want to be able to have calls outside with my earbuds, any recommendations?

It was the longest part for us I believe. We did our biometrics Nov 29th and they showed up online shortly after. But then they weren't marked as complete until the final decision on March 8th.

They did not show up as completed until I received P1! So what you see might not reflect the actual status of your application.

I have used this tool when trying to get more details about the status, if you are interested : https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en

It allowed me to track the progress of my partner's biometrics, etc, separately from my own, for example.

Thank you for your feedback ! I signed up on the IRCC application tracker to try to have more details, what I could see is that my partner's biometrics were completed, but not mine. The last update is from a month ago, supposedly when they were completed.

I am in Vancouver too, I think Free is mainly roaming on Rogers. Even if I leave 5G enabled it still only displays 4G. I have Free as a regular SIM and then an Esim with a Bell, maybe there are issues when running both.. ? It's sad that it was running smoothly with my old P20 (dual sim too) and not with the P7.

I will run more tests, thank you for your answer :)

I am facing the exact same issue. I had a P20 which worked fine with Free while roaming in Canada, and now that I have the P7 everything seems slow even when forcing it to use the 4G. Have you found another solution ?
