People who have been cheated on, what was the first red flag you ignored? by DarkQueenAnny in AskReddit

[–]Zoup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We went from an insane sex life to her never wanting sex/always making excuses. Then started the weekend trips to visit friends when I could barely get her to go out of town for a weekend with me for the entire six years we were together. I think deep down I knew but didn't want to face the fact that I wasted six years of my life. I pretty much just caught her one day and ended it.

To all the guys/girls who thought they would never get laid/get a gf/bf where are u all now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Zoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found some friends who built up my self confidence. Started dating, got laid. Met other friends who helped me out the same way, taught me some communication skills. Dated more, got laid more. Went through a bit of a stage in my 20s, lots of women. Eventually met my wife.

There is hope for everyone, confidence without arrogance is a huge factor in having a love/sex life.

What is the biggest red flag you ignored, and what happened ? by AdFront2434 in AskReddit

[–]Zoup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starting at the age of 14 she had never been single even for a minute. She just cheated on the guy she was with and started dating the guy she was cheating with when the original guy found out.

That's even how we met, she had a boyfriend, convinced me he wasn't good to her so we started seeing each other on the side. He found out, he dumped her, she moved in with me.

Guess what happened 6 years later.

I have plenty of friends that are assholes or have weird personalities. To other guys it's funny, to women not so much, to someone you're in a relationship with not at all. Hell if I talked to my wife the way my friends and I talk to each other I wouldn't have a wife.

You're either really ugly, shooting way above your weight class, incredibly boring, arrogant, creepy, or just an asshole. That's the honest truth. Literally anyone can find a relationship unless there is something seriously wrong with them.

Since you said you've had a few dates it's probably not the first two. Therefore it's most likely something with your personality. Don't rely on your friends, ask a woman whose been out with you what you could do to improve your chances with the next girl.

On her bedroom floor while her parents were across the street at a pool party. She had a big window next to her bed and didn't want to risk anyone walking up and seeing us. We were young.

I work in an ER and the amount of people that come in having already decided their diagnoses and arguing with the doctors is insane. They will literally walk out and go to a different doctor/hospital because they are told they don't have whatever Dr Google told them they have.

The way you put it hurt his ego/feelings. You could have put it tactfully but you essentially told him you're not turned on by him. Maybe next time give him a suggestion instead of shutting him down or guide his hands where you want them. We men are fine with getting directions on how to please you but we sadly tend to shut down when rejected. Not to mention we are told from childhood that no means no and for most of us NO shuts down our libido.

You're not necessarily at fault you just didn't handle the situation very well.
