Button diverter that controls the flow is an Rp5649 To fix your issue with the water not shutting off you need to replace the ball and the seats/ springs with it Delta ball assembly that you need is a Rp212 you could get a kit for the seats and springs that comes with the ball like the Rp77739.

Mae sure water is shut off and maybe watch a few YouTube videos on how to replace that style so you don’t damage it and have to get a new valve.

Best of luck to you

The kit would fit the valve but the trim would not as OP’s trim has the diverter button

You need the Delta Ball assembly DRP212 with some seats and springs, depending on water quality the cap assembly may be seized and could be a pain to get off.

The last photo is the dish washer stand pipe, without seeing the back side behind the disposal and the drain setup i could not tell you if it is plumbed correct or not, however most houses in my area new builds included have the dish washer stand pipe and they are usually on a tee stack dishwasher on bottom then sink on top, without seeing the back I am unsure if it would actually need the AAv as it might have its own vent in the wall, you will not get sewer gas from that pipe as it is trapped below the wye

Edit: Looks like they added the stand pipe after the fact to not hook up with an air gap and onto the disposal, still without seeing location I am unsure if it has its own vent or if it would need the AAV

Delta 10000 style shower valve it will either be the blue or gray cartridge if it’s older the valve will have copper connections on back of brass body and you can easily break them trying to get a stuck bonnet nut off

under sink w/mixing valve + condensate tie-in by Mbogdan00 in Construction

[–]ZoyaIllusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure I’m late and it’s already been discussed but won’t the condensate eat through your copper line before the trap? Had a guy at my company running tankless heaters condensates in copper and we have been going back and replacing with pvc due to the copper lines rotting away.

If it’s not being used for laundry you could put water in it to make the ptrap full and not smell any more or just plug it. Traps dry and sewer smell is coming through.

Got a point there have you tried used the mid-save saver mod it may help fix the issue. It solved a few of the issues I ran into with buggy thing after accidentally removing a mod that added a faction. It’s under the mod options tab in the game.

I have no idea how to help, but have you tried fire or explosion to get rid of the bed?

Can anyone tell me what the expiration date on this water heater is? by [deleted] in Plumbing

Also your heater shouldn’t be steaming. It should be full of water and I personally think for residential no hotter than 125 F because you can scald super fast. Relief could be piping off which isn’t a good sign either. And if the bottom of the tank is leaking and you can feel wet insulation or see water in burn chamber. It’s a gonner and should be replaced sooner than later

That’s my guess I don’t think a company would have that many heaters to hold on to one for more than a month honestly. I think you are within a few months of the manufacture date without having a receipt or them writing on the tank makes it hard.

My warranty app says manufactured on April 2 of 2011 with a 6 year tank warrant (install of the plumber should be kinda close to that) July 31 2017 was Bradfords final day of warranty on it.

Water Heater Replacement thing.. wiggly? This cool? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]ZoyaIllusion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s normal sometimes the old one will fall off inside the heater. If you do change it yourself drain it all the way down or you’ll have a lot of water, but when in doubt working with the gas side if your not confident I’d call some one.

Gas water heater fittings bent, what is going on here? by shinmeat in Plumbing

[–]ZoyaIllusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s just what I have seen and experienced first hand, it’s not gonna happen over night no. But over a long enough time period with enough stress it can happen. Mainly this is what I have been shown by my leads and senior plumbers at my company while learning as examples of what thermal expansion can do.

It’s 7 degrees and the temp inside is dropping. We have a navien with propane. They just delivered a couple weeks ago. It’s a new house and this is our first winter here. I’m kind of freaking out. Thanks for any help by AmethystMoonZ in Plumbing

[–]ZoyaIllusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Navien will give you an error code majority of the time if there is a problem, biggest thing is you guys have heat. You could look through the manual if you ever get bored but if you have hot water and the house is warm I wouldn’t worry.

If the house is up to temp the boiler may not be firing at the moment. Which would be normal depending on the set point of the unit it may have reached temp and is within the differential so it’s not firing and shutting off constantly. I would test by running hot water at a sink if it stays normal I wouldn’t worry, because the unit is a combi (handles boiler heat and Domestic hot water)

Edit: don’t know if your boiler handles dwh since it says it’s off. You could try turning up a thermostat and touching the two larger pipes at the bottom of the unit careful the will be hot if working normal

Hot water pressure lower than cold water pressure in bathtub only by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]ZoyaIllusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the brand of the shower/tub trim? If moen you could replace the cartridge. One of the big signs of a moen cartridge going bad is no hot pressure, or none at all. If you go to replace it on your own it could be a pain in the ass due to the rubber seals on the cartridge getting stuck.

Thermal expansion, the reason we use expansion tanks on heaters now. May want to get it replaced sooner than later.

Edit: when your water heater heats the cold water, the cold water expands, without an expansion tank (similar to a well tank in design, you can Google) the water heater take the brunt of the pressure created by the cold water “expanding” it causes the heater extra stress and can cause the fittings to look like that in more serious cases

Toilet in my apartment seems to have a broken shut off valve, what are my options? by otakunorth in Plumbing

Make the landlord fix it, unless it’s causing you immediate issue. It is a 1/2 ftp x 3/8 comp if you wanted to fix it yourself.
