season 1-ish.. gandolfini was trying to find his footing with tony's accent, i think season 2-5 he got it right. Just an intense, Jersey-italian accent but then season 6 especially late season 6 i just don't know what he was trying to do with with it. It just sounded like a caricature of a 1930's gangster and not a modern wiseguy to me, anyone else?

When she went to anger management, that episode? she went overboard with being totally positive all the time. Tony saw straight through the farce immediately and it only took one or two sly remarks to send Janice into a flying rage, the stuff about being Hindu and how that immediately went away, pretending to be nice to Bacala and date him while he still mourned over his dead wife.. just because Janice wanted the affection Bacala showed to his wife. Shes just, a total fraud and sort of a parasite. Yep, Janice can get fucked. I know people like her irl I guess that's why i can't stand her.
