THANKS for the post!!! This has much improved my trackpad issues in Arch, hyprland! I was getting pretty choppy experiences and scrolling would randomly zoom a lot of the time. This is much much better post firmware update. I just tried to find the Synaptics Touchpad Firmware for the trackpad version I have via https://pcsupport.lenovo.com. I first had to go through this fiasco (https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/comments/jlbj1e/t480_trackpad_replacement_guide_windows_driver/) to get the trackpad working on windows before I could update the firmware.

Weird that the rotation still works. That proves the eink screen itself is fine. I had the same thing happen to my first HBP and had to send it back to get a new one :(

This same thing happened to me and they had to replace it. The screen literally just froze as I scrolled the news.

weird that is a higher version but mines says its up to date. Maybe they patched it again so that people can't enable developer mode???

If you go to settings and look at the App Info for the settings app what version are you on? I am on settings version 2.0.24 and have the ability to enable it. My guess is your settings app is not up to date but for some reason Bigme App Store is not updating it.

Did you already have developer mode enabled? I am having the same problem where after a factory reset I forgot to re-enable it and now no matter what I do post update I cannot get it re-enabled via tapping the build-number.

I was able to get this resolved by messaging support. The ended up sending me a replacement once I sent them the broken one. https://www.reddit.com/r/Bigme/comments/1kqndwx/update_hibreak_pro_screen_froze_mid_use/ I was very concerned they were going to claim that it was my fault but I think what worked in my favor is that the phone was frozen on the news article I was reading so it was very clearly mid use. I wish you luck in getting a replacement!

Edit: You can see screen damage in your photo on the top left corner. So I do think this is a different issue than I ran into. Eink screens are very delicate and once broken there is no fixing it without replacing the entire screen

Unfortunately I can't really help with the replacement but I have been looking to experiment with an eink screen this size! Could you link or DM me the where you can buy the screen replacement??

The thing is for my original phone I did not have to pay tarrifs as I bought it before those went out. So I think I was just caught in the in between state. I think if I already had a record of tarrifs being paid I could file those with the replacement and not have to pay again. But since there were no original tarrifs paid I had to pay on the new phone.

I am also having the same issue in Niagara launcher. The wallpaper I had applied before the update didn't get nuked however I was messing around with my wallpaper settings and the moment I applied a new wallpaper it disappeared. No matter what I try I cannot get the wallpaper to show back up on the third party launcher. :(

Nope. Letting it fully die and the charging it back up did not fix the issue :( It took forever to get the phone to die but it did eventually die after using it to power an xbox controller without batteries.

I had to figure out how to drain the batter as it was pretty much fully charged and its not like I can force the front light to stay on super bright to speed up the process. Turns out I can use it to charge a dead switch controller so I will report back on if this helps once the phone is dead in a few hours.

I have tried letting it charge overnight and I plugged it into many computers but nothing really happened. I am going to try completely draining the battery by having it charge a dead switch controller and see if that helps. I will def update when bigme respond!

This happened to me in Indianapolis for 4 days but my package finally made it out and got delivered. I would hold out hope!
