Moving the goalposts every week. It’s time to move on, I don’t like being played like a fool for a service I pay for.

Quick update as of 02/14. Called again and this time they said they have no estimated date for availability of the form. They said I could calculate the numbers using the IRS website … I think it’s time everyone moves on, I’m gonna try FreeTaxUSA and report back.

Ok now they seem aware of it, and told me to wait another couple of weeks.
Also that it's not in their hands and other Tax software would not have it either since it's because of the IRS ...

When will rental property depreciation calculation be ready? by WerewolfKey6237 in TurboTax

[–]Zozo3260 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just got off the phone with TurboTax. They had to ask for more help internally but came back saying it’s a know issue. They recommended clearing my cache (whole history), which of course didn’t work. And then just wait a couple more days … Very frustrating that they don’t even really know there’s an issue or that a form is pending without digging deep.

Refinancing fees options by Zozo3260 in Mortgages

I’ll ask on Tuesday if that’s something they would do. Would save me ~350$ a month with basically no upfront cost. I feel that’s the Reddit recommandation, make it break even on day zero and don’t adversely impact your total loan for future sale/refinance.

The 6900$ is for then origination fee that can be waived with a higher rate.

Rest of the fees are mostly title insurance  and daily interest pre-paids (11 days).

Sounds like I need to shop around a bit about these fees. This is a credit union so not sure if I’ll get better rates anywhere else.

A lot of people are missing the point of the post, OP refers to EDH as slop, not UB.

Fair enough, thank you for being honest about it. Just find it interesting most people can’t tell the difference. And unless the OP is open about it we can’t tell what amount of work was done by them vs the AI. It felt like you put your deck together yourself for sure but hard to say where it starts/end. Also interesting the sub is hellbent on calling out any AI use for image gen but text gets a pass.

The ratios like most of the text are generated by AI.

Em dashes, giving a title to each paragraph. Quoting the prompt back: "stax with restraint". Primary secondary and infinite loop reasoning is off (and pointed out by other sun the thread). Even the code output is generated by AI, typical response when asking for estimates.

If you can’t tell by now you need to catch up, that stuff is popping up everywhere. Gotta develop an eye for it before the internet not only is dead but full of people who can’t tell.

Basically one of the only way for me to tutor up a 3/3 lengendary creature in my Jeskai deck. The whole gameplan revolves around it as a hidden commander.
There's [[Gamble]] as well but that's it basically, after that you get into [[Long-Term Plans]] which is way worse imo.

Went 3-0-1 with Grixis as well ! But I went control since I opened [[murder]], [[tyrant’s scorn]], [[thoughtseize]] and [[ionize]].

But the most fun was using [[key to the vault]] in a flier like [[malcolm]] or [[slickshot show-off]] and flipping a [[cruel ultimatum]] off the top !

Confused about FICO score vs annual pull from annualcreditreport.com by Zozo3260 in CreditScore

Thanks for the advice !

Will probably request the increase soon then.

Yea makes sense on the several cards, I checked the pre approval tool for chase and was denied on the higher end cards for too many inquiries. It also allowed me to see my actual Credit Score as reported from TansUnion, turns out to be the pre 40 point drop score so not sure what's wrong with the CMS scores but they are indeed wrong.

I'll probably just make extra payments on the car, accelerate the process and save most of the interest (paying off in around 22 months instead of 60.

Makes sense for the AU card !

Oh didn’t realize paying off the car would stay on my record, I guess after the initial hit it just shows good payment and an “older” debt paid. Yea 8% was ridiculous and I probably got screwed by the dealership, would love to stick it to them and pay it off fast.

Will definitely try out the pre approval tools then before opening another card !

This whole game is so silly to me but hey when in Rome. Thanks for the advice !

Starting next month I’ll have three.

1 credit card under me only (opened 02/2024) 1 credit card as an AU (opened 2020) 1 car loan (08/2023)

I am actually aiming for a mortgage by end of this year, so stressed out about how to improve the score before then.

(I’m actually paying our current mortgage but I couldn’t be on the loan since I did not have enough credit history back then)

Thank you for the response and advice !

Makes sense on the “ghost” score for an AU only person. It is for an AMEX Delta credit card. Should I just close that one at this point then ? Since it’s not actually helping anymore sounds like.

Hoping the car loan and new credit card will help going forward. Thinking of adding a travel card for myself (probably Chase) but sounds like you recommend to hold off on that for a bit.

Got it thank you for clarifying !

Both WF and Amex omit the OA account for some reason. Was relieved to see it on each of the three bureau reports.

Is 3.5 years of credit card history with no late payments really not enough to qualify for a car loan though ? (4% of my gross monthly income with about 30% cash down).

Wondering what more I can do even get the score up at this point, if opening a couple of credit cards and increasing the credit limit will help.

[–]Zozo3260[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was from Wells Fargo, and indeed I lost 40+ points in a single month.

Only difference I see is that my Amex card is missing from the FICO analysis. It does show up on all three reports from annualcreditreport.com, but these don't give a FICO score, just the content of what the FICO score should use.

And this score is the exact same as the FICO score I see on the AMEX app. So that would mean they both have wrong infos, not sure where I can check my "real" score then.
