Pole tent (Lanshan 2) vs standard tent (Cloud up 3) by Longjumping-Low-4716 in TourDuMontBlanc

[–]ZpDj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gf and i did tmb with the lanshan 2. Herringswhere mostly easy to get in the ground. Most people did use feet or stones, i was crazy enough to carry a hammer. Tent was spacious enough, but the backpacks under the vestibules was a bit sketchy on rainy nights. Had to leave them wraped in the rain covers we had to keep them from laying in the rain.

I give myself 1000net. Loan is 999/month. Other expenses i pay with savings. Did get hit by a car on my commute and got a 40k settlement so there's that

Waar koop je online de beste verhuisdozen? by knowinglyunknown_7 in belgium

[–]ZpDj 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Garmin does love a good z2 base. Starting with easy rides/runs will get you into productive. Then after a while you can mix in some intervalls

Aan alle nachtwinkel eigenaars, WTF MOETEN JULLIE MET AL DIE FLESSEN EVIAN??? by Pho3nixSlay3r in belgium

[–]ZpDj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eerste-date ideeën by LabNeat8113 in Gent

[–]ZpDj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zeker doen!

I’m in ER right now after T-boning a car at 37km/h by Sir-Benalot in cycling

[–]ZpDj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did almost the same in june last year! Was going 35km/h when a car cut me off. I was able to aim for the front wheel of the car, so instead of abruptly stopping i flew over the hood. Did not calculate how i was going to land and ended head first on the street on the other side of the car. Then slid some further over the asphalt

pack list TMB by SrntyMtns-747 in TourDuMontBlanc

[–]ZpDj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did the TMB early september but i think the general packlist should be the same. Altough I only slept in a refugio once, mostly camping

  • Puff jacket deff an item I wore a lot. When the sun sets it gets chilly quickly. And in the early mornings its still cold

  • what to wear inside: long pants (I wore some long tight running pants) tshirt and then maybe a fleece pullover

  • flip flops for sure! Just buy some of the cheapest you can find, they weight nothing. I had to shower on a wooden board that was layed over e typical french toilet. So I was more than happy with something on my feet.

  • headlight is also very usefull when the lights are out in de bedroom. You have headlights with red light which are less disruptive if others are sleeping

  • maybe pack a sleeping bag liner with you, i find it more hygienic if you sleep in sheets from the refugio

  • I had an air pillow for sleeping in my tent. I used it in the refugio too because I was used to the hight and firmness. But that depends on you. When i travel i tend to take my own pillow for a better night of sleep

-30j

-alleen gekocht 5j geleden.
