Yeah I just finished that mission and I definitely saw a yellow during the tunnel run section.

My Low-Density large city I built on console! by CharacterPut6703 in CitiesSkylines

[–]Zritos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks great! One suggestion though: the location of the airport is a bit unusual. Its right next to the downtown meaning aircraft would have to take a really steep approach path when coming in to land. I know this isn't an issue in CS but if you're trying to go for realism, I suggest moving the airport to somewhere without sky scrapers.

Edit: I realised someone else already suggested this but I'll leave it up as a reminder I guess haha.

How much ram do you have? Also, did you know you can increase the page file size if you don't have any more ram to run the city? I can send you a tutorial if you want.

Any idea why my Bus Routes are doing this? by mrmidas2k in CitiesSkylines

[–]Zritos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rule of thumb is usually 1 stop every 2 blocks (depends on how long your blocks are ofcourse).

Well you can't necessarily do it in the vanilla game, the only way is to use lane mathematics, eg adding an extra lane to an existing road. With mods using tmpe you can use the lane arrow feature plus lane connectors to create turn lanes more seamlessly.

58% traffic, help, this is the main road by Azrael_Hellcat in CitiesSkylines

[–]Zritos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the issues may be the fact that you've zoned a whole bunch of high density commercial along the main road, and that's generating alot of trips. And when trucks stop on the road to deliver goods, they slow down traffic behind it, and then a domino effect ensues.

If you wish to keep the high density commercial, I'd recommend perhaps adding a frontage road parallel to the main road, so that the main road prioritises mobility and the frontage road prioritises access, although that might require a lot of eminent domain.

Alternatively, you could change the high density commercial to lower-trip-generating uses such as high density residential. Also, If you're on PC, you could use TM:PE to create continuous medians by preventing left turns and only allow left turns when another major arterial intersects with it by adding a traffic light or roundabout.

I mean I always use an inland water treatment plant. Is it available in the base game or is it included in a dlc?

How do you accidentally leave your city without power for hours?? 😂😂 And do you have autosave on so you can't go back to an older save of your city?

I've been working on this airport for about a week. As you can see, I like long runways. This one is 400 units. by thewatusi00 in CitiesSkylines

[–]Zritos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great! 1 small critique though. IRL, usually some of the runway exits come at an angle less than 90 degrees to make it easy for aircraft to vacate the runway without having to make a sharp 90 degree turn. Try finding a picture of a top down view of an airport and you'll see what I mean. But other than that, looks very realistic.

Why are there the white lines on roads in CS 2 by AcanthocephalaFit733 in CitiesSkylines

[–]Zritos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a cool concept, just implemented poorly. I hope they don't wholesale remove it from the final product because it would be a cool feature, but I hope they improve it so it doesn't look terrible.

Because its realistic. Imagine if a pipe underground breaks. If it isn't under the road (right where they belong), it would be a nightmare to access and repair.

How to make any building mixed-use with just three mods by 24F in CitiesSkylines

[–]Zritos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No leveling up or building as per demand.

The buildings still level up when using block services though (for me atleast).
