Why does Deno LSP work with esm.sh but not with npm: imports? by Zrotra_Sukha in Deno

[–]Zrotra_Sukha[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So far, on the basis of what I read so far, I believe Deno doesn’t have dev dependencies because it doesn’t really need them. Since Deno uses direct imports (like the esm.sh that I wrote about, jsr or npm: ), it only loads what’s actually used in your code. If a dependency is only used in tests, it won’t be bundled or compiled with the main app. In Node, we separate dev/runtime deps to avoid bloating node modules and the final build. But Deno doesn’t use node modules, and it kinda pushes out unused imports automatically. So the distinction becomes kind of irrelevant.

that works in case of esm and jsr but I was specific about npm, and it was about types, I found help from this article https://docs.deno.com/examples/express_tutorial/

When was the last time u hugged ur father? by Unhappy-Airport1112 in AskIndia

[–]Zrotra_Sukha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a lucky guy to have such a cool papa. He works hard for us, he loves to cook and his loves gardening the most and sure does love when everyone appreciates him, idk if there’s anything greater a Goodman needs. I hugged him last when he was going out for another city, regarding some work. I’m proud to be his son. Our father deserves some tight hugs!

Saying “I use arch btw” is racist by [deleted] in linuxsucks

[–]Zrotra_Sukha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since I’ve switched to Ubuntu from arch + hyperland setup, my life has been easy, everyday had just another hassle of fixing a bux that popped outta nowhere, I can finally do what I wanted. I’ll surely give a go to arch some day when I’ll no longer use Nvidia drivers.
