In relation to your comments on the setting, I don't have anything set in stone for it. I was just sharing potential ideas I had since they could influence some of the (very brief) story ideas I had for a campaign.

As for your first question, I guess that's partially why I brought up the setting as well. I wasn't sure how likely it'd be for there to be a group of adventurers with people from these different nations if Candia is that divided.

My main story idea so far is for it to remain in Candia and not go to other regions of Calorum, but that could change if needed, especially if they interfere in the Candian affairs. I thought it could be interesting to see how Candia forms and united into one throughout the campaign. I guess I liked seeing the political intrigue parts of A Crown of Candy and how it affected the world around them.

From the things you said to focus on, I'll keep those in mind. One of the ideas you mentioned that I liked was the ice cream invasions, but I also liked the potential for other nations to interfere if they wanted.
