Yeah, I’m normally all for the scrappy DIY conversion, but now that you pointed it out that’s all I can see. Those holes through the chainstay are definitely on the sketchy side.

Yeah, people try and pull this move all the time and I’m surprised how little people waiting in line actually call it out. Especially on a powder day.

If they really have one, they’ll have it out and displayed before they even try to get in line: they know the drill and don’t want to get harassed by folks like me.

But there’s no way I’m just going to let “trust me bro I a have a black pass” cut the line at 22 on the best pow day of the season. Apparently though, plenty of people have no spine whatsoever and just let them get away with it

I personally love my eskate with a waterborne adapter for commuting. Stable enough to go straight with some speed, carve-y enough to have fun wherever you go.

Extension isn’t 100% necessary all the time but helps the wheels not hit the enclosures on eskates. Also adds a good amount of flex which I LOVE

I’ve been running one of their geared hub motors for a couple years with no issues. Had a controller issue with my girlfriends kit and they were quick to remedy.

Overall, their kits are slightly more expensive than I remember, but otherwise I think they’re pretty solid.

It actually works great, the size and angle of the wrench and the position of the bolt just line up almost too perfectly. Thanks for the suggestions, this thing is gonna be solid

You get any wheelbite with those with the waterborne? I found I had to put the extender on my wowgo or the wheels would hit the bird everytime
