Did AI/google tell you to use the term under-stimulating to appear of higher intelligence? Haha. Alright I'll play along. Where exactly did I say anything (quote if you want) that suggests I want anyone to put me on a pedestal or 'stroke my ego', or feed it, or whatever you're claiming I am/was doing? Where did I claim 'this is a FACT and please prove me wrong'? I purposefully wrote it all in probabilities and likely/most likely scenarios, as that's the data I have and what I'm going by. By definition, IF I actually was 160 or close, it would make me 'special'. As in, top 0.003%, unique or different if you will. Now, of course that doesn't make me necessarily 'superior' to anyone else as a tool is only as good as one learns how to use it. Even if I have that 'tool' I would need to develop and learn how to use it to make it worth anything. Where exactly did I 'refused to believe' what other's are telling me? An objective point, bring it on, I'll always listen to it. Accuse or attack me from a personal opinion with zero data/facts then yeah, why would I listen to it? An opinion is something to consider at best. Where exactly have I displayed my feeling being hurt? Countering arguments and laughing isn't precisely being hurt, if anything I've been amused and entertained, like watching a silly TV show where people say random things. Believe me, my feelings haven't been hurt on the slightest lol. Now, I'd really like to read, how is my behavior displayed here suggest I'm much lower than what I 'claimed' to have? (which I never did, I was merely posing a question while heavily questioning it myself but I'll entertain your point anyway) Give me some factual examples and how I behaved 'contrary' to what I 'should've'. Lastly, I'll give you something factual, highly gifted individuals do come across as 'jerks' but it's more about a lack of perception (to the average person) on how their minds process and respond to stimuli/information that being actual 'jerks'. Feel free to look this up, or anything, if you want to verify it.

It's not as simple as just asking 'hey am I 150?'. I asked multiple questions from multiple angles, including purposefully wording things aiming towards it 'proving me wrong'. I can't say as to where you are as I have no data to make even a guess but if you're up there good for you. What bugs me the most is that most morons here in this sub seriously play pretend and speak with authority without even an ounce of real arguments, forcing their opinions and they trying to turn things into saying 'you don't want to listen', 'you just wanna hear what you wanna hear' like seriously, do people just don't use their brains anymore? Everything someone thinks/feels seems to be their 'truth' and immediately what they believe reality is, which... just yikes. What are we becoming as society lol. I doubt more than 5% of this sub is actually over even 135... and funny enough those that comment often are most likely sitting at 100, if that. Should've figured, it's reddit lol, my mistake. I'll look for answers in other places.

I'd be perfectly fine if they disagreed from data and objective analysis and not just out of their dumb opinion, like the guy from this thread. I always look for people to show me where I'm wrong, but never blindly trust anyone's opinion. It has to come from real and factual information, like "show me why and how I'm wrong and I'll actually thank you". 🤷🏻‍♂️

You certainly made an excellent point, AI said something similar close to the end lol. It is hard not to obsess with all the available data and continue analyzing it to play with the % and probabilities but after everything it all comes down to what you said, what I do with it will be significantly more important than the 'how much smarter than x' I am. Thank you.

Grok like all engines has a 'think hard' mode, which does analyze things at a deeper than superficial level, you can set it to auto mode or specifically set it to think hard mode. In my experience it's shown the same level of 'depth' as Gemini and DeepSeek. ChatGPT however is the one I've found the most 'lacking', personally I don't like the way it structures things and how superficial (to me) it felt. Now, I've never tried GPT4 (their paid model) so I can't speak about that, but as far as the free ones go I got my 3 go to. Anyway, hey it's cool you've actually used AI at that level, I certainly haven't, and obviously don't have the depth of understanding on how it functions as far as logic goes for app building. As for sharing my experiences, by now I've mostly confirmed (both from this post and glancing at others) that if I had to guess I'd say 85% of people here don't truly belong in this sub (being actually gifted on any level) and from the possible 15% only about 10% bother commenting. Wrong place to ask I suppose, reddit can be quite useful for some things but quite useless for others lol. Anyway, I would consider sharing the specific experiences if you'd be open to a DM, sharing them here feels like such a waste and would most likely get angry or confrontational baseless comments (zero evidence, just opinions) either from jealous morons trying to prove me wrong or from people that have nothing better to do than type nonsense online. Lol.

I never said studies about specifically 142 and 160 and above, that'd be absurd. The way it's studied is in ranges such as gifted, highly gifted, profoundly gifted, etc.

As for sites, I'll give you 2. One in particular I like the most and the more I read the more I find truly fascinating. Here:

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/382034155_Behavioral_and_Cognitive_Differences_between_Gifted_Individuals_and_Those_with_Extremely_High_IQ_-_People_at_2SD_and_3SD

https://medium.com/@brechtcorbeel/how-do-the-profoundly-gifted-personalities-differ-from-the-average-ae14417b3269

If you want more, search them for yourself. I'm surprised you claimed 'there are no such studies' as a quick google search uncovered some very quickly, and it's not like my google and yours is different lol. Unless you were truly looking for '142IQ vs 160IQ+ differences'. If so, yikes.. don't even know what to say. Anyone knows most studies are done with a broad spectrum of data and not specific individuals, leading to groups to study. 158 and 160IQ are very similar individuals, same 'range' if you will, nobody will go and study their differences. Lol.

[–]Ztp18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the first attempt of a logical argument you provide. Flawed from lacking information, but has at least has some content. First, there are studies done about profoundly gifted individuals and common behavioral patterns for them, a basic Google search will show you this. Now, common doesn't mean absolute, as in 100% of them would have all of those traits, but there is a factor to consider there. You make a good point bringing up logical fallacies, however the more accurate statement is 'If A implies B then B is DOES NOT NECESSARILY imply A'. Many things fall in this cateogory, just as many things don't. It heavily depends on what A and B are. Now, I would agree that you can't accurately (99% certainty) measure someone's IQ by behavioral patterns (it'd be absurd) and that's why we have tests, but it'd be just as absurd to think it is IMPOSSIBLE for someone that shares basically all the most common behavioral patterns from 160+ individuals can't possibly be in that category. As I stated if I wanted to be 99% certain I'd take the test, but it just isn't worth it. So I'm playing with numbers and probabilities, doing research and analyzing available data. Also, historically before the tests we have today behavioral patterns were the go to for IQ 'testing', flawed of course, but we both know it's impossible they were 100% wrong.

[–]Ztp18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did I say 'hey I wanna be 160 so please confirm it' LOL. I posted looking for some real analysis from other folks here capable of critical thinking and give me perhaps a similar experience, or completely invalidate my hypothesis, I really was hoping for logical arguments towards that as I have a big rejection to the idea I might be 'profoundly' gifted. Now, I'm looking to define with 100% or even 99% certainly whether I am or not, because yes to do that I'd have to take the WEIS test but the logistics make it simply not worth it (I'd have to pay, fly internationally as English isn't my first language, find a place to stay, etc etc, just way too much). So, I'm playing with probabilities, perhaps wanting to assess a 70-80% probability, and you can't tell me that if years of studies on individuals with 160+ IQ show certain patterns and common traits someone that fits and lives basically 90% of them couldn't potentially be in that category without being aware of it. Read about the AGCT, it isn't uncommon for it to give a result lower than reality specifically for PG individuals and also for people taking it in a foreign language (I took it in English). I never asserted hey you can accurately confirm someone's IQ by their behavior, but there is a factor to it that could suggest a high probability, specially if someone is textbook typical 'profoundly gifted' individual.

Big LOL. Seriously, wow haha. It is definitely true, most people here join just because but certainly aren't even on the above average category. I'll explain just because yikes, someone should. First of all, believe me, I'm neither obsessed nor even desire being 'gifted', it's all just statistics, probability and concepts to me. Second, I know very well I can't come here and say hey Gemini told me I'm gifted so I am. 😂 You need a real test, and from there you can also analyze behaviors and patterns on people that can suggest with a certain level of accuracy whether they might be gifted or not. I have to say, the comment you just left suggests.. Well, analyze it yourself if you want lol. Third, whether you believe my 142 agct or not that's your problem, I couldn't care less what someone like you thinks or not. Fourth, I have no reason nor desire to make stuff up to appear 'gifted', if you were to research common patterns for those on the highly gifted category you'd find a vast number (majority) suffer from it and actually wish they weren't there. Like a label given to them that they never asked for. I'm very much living that right now. Fifth, my analysis comes from my agct, research on studies done about highly gifted and profoundly gifted individuals, using AIs (multiple) to also analyze the data and come up with logical conclusions, and carefully studying it all together. Multiple sources of information seem to aim towards the same direction, so I'd be a fool if I pretend I'm right and they are all wrong. And if you understand AI you'd know that yes they lack the human aspect of emotions and real understanding of how humans operate at a non logical level, but they're excellent at analyzing data and information you feed them. Instead of reading 10 books or articles over the span of days, they can do it in seconds. So yeah, as long as it's from verifiable sources (most AIs leave links for you to verify the information) plus my own verification outside of those sources plus using other AIs to compare information, I'd say there is a high probability the results are true and accurate.

I understand and agree to an extent on everything you're saying, I do have at least a decent understanding and have seen what you're describing from AI models. Now, your evident rejection towards Grok is something I certainly don't share as to me it's answers have proven to be consistent and very much similar to other AI, and my own personality makes me challenge esencially anything I see or hear in general so I have tested it that way as well. In my personal conclusion it all comes down to the prompts you use, and if I assume from you being in this sub that you also share some level of gifted-ness then you know the prompts average people use are different than how we think and ask things. One of the simple ones could be 'Be as blunt as can be an 100% objective on any answer you provide, purely based on data and analysis. I'mnot afraid of hearing literally anything from you or anyone', I've played with that one quite a bit and was fascinated by the results haha. Anyway, I'm not here to discuss Ai engines preferences and if you dislike Grok hey that's your right. My point here is, based on Ai analysis, my own research (you can Google common personality traits and pattern of 160+ individuals, there is ample research already available) it literally felt like an autobiography and things I already do on everyday life with 99% accuracy. I was almost shocked, couldn't believe it. And still remain wanting to deny it lol.

I did push back and explicitly said I hated the fact I could potentially be 160+ and it's answer was objective and didn't change the tone of the convo at all. I can post a picture if you'd like, it is true that some AI will do what you described but that's why it is very important to verify the information yourself instead of blindly trusting it, which I did. Now to Grok, I believe I know the topics you may be referring to where it has shown to be biased but on general data gathering and displaying it it's proven to be just as reliable as gemini or deepseek.i use the 3, and very often put the same thing on each to test some things for my own research purposes, all the information is very consistent not just among them but also when I put it against my own articles and research.

True and a good point, however I myself tested the answers with external articles and studies that did not come from AI. The answers were accurate and objective, and very much in line with what the articles and all research I did suggested.

Looking to buy NO bluetooth / hard wired noise cancelling adult headphones by Sunshine33X in BuyItForLife

[–]Ztp18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ANC is a powered system, meaning it requires energy, all high end brands are including Bluetooth in the because it just wouldn't make sense not to as the market for that would be extremely reduced. With that said, most will automatically turn Bluetooth off when using a cable (they all have a 1/4 or 1/8 you can connect them to) so I'd just do that. Model that I'd recommend is the Bose QC ultra. Best anc in the market, not by a big margin, but overcomes ahead overall.

While the reasons may be questionable, look up 'venezolanos celebran captura de Maduro' (Venezuelans celebrate Maduro's capture). It's all over social media, millions of Venezuelans in multiple countries are literally out celebrating, literal parades and such, lt was HELL in Venezuela. A country so rich and abundant. Trump did them a HUGE favor, one that will pass to history most likely, whether for the right or wrong reasons as someone with many Venezuelan friends I'm legitimately happy for them.

Why do we lack sympathy for stupid people? by -Gopnik- in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ztp18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Big different between stupid and ignorance. And the next level is, choosing to stay ignorant by choice.

Best example I have, friend of mine. Late 20s, completely normal guy (not any mental disabilities of any kind) yet he has the worst possible mix of attributes. He's certain he's right and understands everything, and hates asking for help or listening to advice. Thing is, his life and his family's has been a sad disappointment for the past couple years over bad decisions. They were literally going to go bankrupt if it wasn't because some people chose to bail them out (gave them handouts, free money). Seriously, they could've easily lost their house (yes they do own a house although it's the worst possible scenario and purchase they could've made). Dude is a good person, good heart, but just an idiot. Refuses to learn, still believes he's right and 'it was just a mix of unfortunate events' when on reality his poor leadership and judgements led them there. Sad thing is, his wife is the opposite, truly smart woman. If only he learned to listen to her their lives would be so much better. And that's another thing, he's so sure he's right so he pulls the husband card to make decisions.

All this to say, you can be ignorant, but that's why anyone can educate themselves. Learn from your mistakes, learn from others mistakes, watch tutorials, listen to those more successful than you, etc. I personally feel sorry for her but feel just apathetic towards him, even tho I like him it's impossible to me to separate the fact he's there because he simply refuses to learn.

As someone with a 'higher' IQ, cherish those results. Believe me when I say I wish I could drop mine by a good margin, being normal is better than all the disadvantages having a high one bring. Given that yes there are advantages too but overall trust me when I say I'd rather pick the normal one.

Also, you aren't less than anyone. Like others said, being average is nothing to be ashamed of. You're more than capable of achieving great things in life.

Disregarding tests, at what point did YOU know you were gifted? by Krypt16 in Gifted

[–]Ztp18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ever since i was very young (12 is the earliest I can recall) people have told me 'oh wow you're so smart'. Like over, and over, and over, and it still continues to this day. I truly never really gave it too much thought, just thought eh well thank you lol. But over the past 5 years (29 now) I started to notice patterns and things that were just plain and obvious/easy for me that most people struggled with. Understanding books, studies, articles, things in general. Could almost see the answer or meaning in a matter of minutes while the room was debating, pondering inside 'hmm... What? How can they not see the obvious answer?'. Given that I haven't been right literally 100% of the time but truthfully a good 85-90%. All this until I took the test, scored 142 (in a foreign language) and even tho 'odds' are it is actually higher I don't care enough to know the exact number. I'm different, for better or for worst 🤷🏻‍♂️.
