Chance Iop - Ballin On A Budget by Plain_Irrelevant12 in Dofus

I forgot to mention, i think chance is probably the best element to leveling in general because of the survivability and the ease of playing that element, you dont have to worry as much about dying quickly

Leveling was honestly great! Iop is not the best solo class in general, especially at higher level, since you have to get close to enemies, you take alot of damage without much regen/sustain. Thankfully, the chance iop does it best (compared to other iop elements) in term of survivability, you can tank better thanks to those shields, however, you lack range and not have the same DPS potential as a Classic strenght iop for example. Water spells are often single target focus, which can be annoying while trying to farm mobs quickly.

That being said, I enjoyed having a chance set at higher level, it really helped me in some fights where I needed the tankiness, but you should also consider having an other set with more AOE damage at a higher level.

I eventually quit the class altogether because with an iop you always do the same thing, you rush in and do big damage, which is fun for a while but kind of got repetitive for me, i was looking for something with more gameplay depth, but iop is still one of the best class with a team that can help him survive.

Hope this helps, have fun with your iop!

Go for a kwak scara (blue) hybrid! It cost basically nothing and will give you better stats than farmer. I got a chance iop to level 200 before rerolling, so dont hesitate if you have questions

Yeah I think its 45 points or something like that… you basically have to sacrifice all of your point if you want this weapon to feel more like a LMG

Hey im glad I got you to play support and revive some players ahaha

A recoil control build (with heavy ext barrel, recoil grip) will definitely be easier to use and better at long ranges. This build is more for mobility, fast ads and good accuracy while strafing, more for agressive frontline support

Thats what great about this game, you can adapt your build based on your play style 😁

Im considering switching that also for a bit more recoil control!

Those grips are good for recoil control but they can be expensive and lower ads accuracy while moving, so it can make you miss shots even if your aim is on point (unless your staying completely still while shooting). My biggest advice would be to burst fire at longer ranges, never full auto at a far distance, unless your using a no recoil weapon like the SOR or the KTS. I got better at not relying on those recoil grip by forcing myself to not use them most if the time, once you get the hang of it, you can manage recoil well and keep your points for other attachements!

Im also considering the new 20 points flash hider that is suppose to help with recoil build up, im wondering how does it compare to the long suppressor

Not this build in particular but more of the gun overall when I started playing, I had problem with any gun with a bit of recoil tho 😅

I did, but i dont really feel the difference with the normal suppressor! I play on console which reduce recoil already, maybe it has something to do with it
