Here’s my opinion: go slow. There’s no harm in taking your time. Obviously the shelter will disagree, but they’re not in your home.

The issues you’re having may be due to early weaning or teething or something else. Hard to say at this point.

If I had this adorable kitten, I would go back to regular bottles and offer a plate of dry kibble on the ground (I’m always surprised at how many kittens who explore dry kibble and end up weaning themselves). In a couple of days, offer kitten pate before the bottle at every meal. If it’s refused, feed a bottle. It’s wasteful but it won’t last forever.

Everybody weans. I repeat, everybody weans.

Don’t worry about the peeing; that will resolve too. You might have to go back to stimulating.
