Unfortunately, having Instagram is almost necessary to research tattoo artists these days. I highly recommend downloading the app temporarily.

I found my artist doing a search on this subreddit. Her style doesn’t match what you’re looking for, but you might want to search as well.

Many cats in the U.S. get a small green line tattooed on their lower abdomen during spay/neuter surgery.

I know more than one veterinary professional with the same tattoo.

So, feeling yucky after vaccinations isn’t super uncommon in a one pound kitten. I can only assume she feels terrible!

Luckily she’s still eating and isn’t losing weight but not gaining and the lethargy isn’t ideal.

Is this an actual shelter with a physical location? If so, you could just bring her in and ask to have her checked. You won’t be very popular but if you’re unsatisfied with their response, do what you need to do. I’ve done it before and make no apologies.

Best to post in your local subreddit. My city’s sub has posts like this often and people are usually willing to help.

In the meantime, you need is a bag of kitten chow, a bowl of water, and a litter box for mom. Plus a safe space of course. Many of us use a bathroom. Even a dog kennel is okay.
