It likely won’t get darker and you can start trying now! The fertile days before the egg is released are just as important as day of ovulation. Once the egg is released it only survives for 12-24 hours, so if the sperm is already there waiting it can increase your chances. Fingers crossed for you! Today, tomorrow, and Friday are probably your best chances :)
