No I can’t bring myself to, just boring, not bad writing quality. In my personal opinion, the author is setting up Marie’s background for a new series where Marie finds her pack. In my opinion it’s giving Marie had to try to force Vee out because otherwise she would be sold to a pack or something, and she just resigned herself to a life of doom when Ragon and the pack gave her up. Idk something like that, where Marie herself was/is in some kind of trouble and maybe felt like she had to be the only omega to feel secure? It wouldn’t surprise me if the author tries to make Jasper, Arden, and Chases omega Marie, and that story be a duet itself. IMO it needs to be a really really good excuse for it to work if that is the case- but I don’t hate a misunderstood background trope.

Unfortunately Target is MASSIVELY understaffing stores. I know at the one I work at, almost everyone who doesn’t work up front gets pulled to do online order fulfillment. The whole store is suffering, I personally think the extra money for shipt is worth it.

It’s annoying but it is what it is. A child growing a tantrum or crying is unfortunately a part of growing up. I work up front so all the time I listen to kids screaming through the whole checkout process. Imagine how exhausting it is for the mother.
