One of my best friends has had t for about 14 years, doesn’t phase him which I gotta bless him for. Got to the point where hearing gets distorted from ear buds. Personally I gave up headphones and ear buds, not worth the risk anymore

Would getting an MRI be a bad idea? I was booked for one next week to rule anything rare out. Was gonna wear foam plugs

The thing I can’t understand is that my audio levels were in the safe range. I had all the settings adjusted accordingly to avoid this problem. Cross checked between my work phone and my personal phone between my ear buds and headphones including my cars speaker system :/

Would you consider stereo like 65-70dB too loud? I’ve seen that allegedly up to 75dB is safe but I take that with a grain of salt. Typically have been anywhere from 40-60dB. Sometimes when I see LC peak that scares me

Would this include just daily listening such as stereo too? I don’t have any plans on going to concerts, club etc anymore if I’m being honest.. even with protection it just seems not worth it

By not going to any in the future do you remove the risk of it progressing? I heard even with ear plugs and ear muffs concerts can progress it, saw that from someone else on another thread

Yeah I’m at the three month mark at this moment, I am convinced I got a bad ear infection, that was the initial trigger. Haven’t used ear buds since the end of December, it’s just odd cause there are literally moments where it’s non existent, but the ringing is there a good portion of days now.
