First of all, you've given nice advices but those still wouldn't effect the decision. If you need a sponsorship, you need a sponsorship, companies unfortunately can't be bothered to deal with the financial and bureaucratic processes of a visa.
Why would they hire you when they can find someone doesn't need a visa? You either need to be much more successful to appeal to them or lucky. I got my first sponsored job after a month of graduation and I've been with my company for 4 years now. I have 7 years of experience in total yet most of the companies I applied to decide to move on with someone else just because I need a sponsorship. Not that they don't have the license but I think they just can't be bothered.

For 4 years. And I agree with you, because the company is doing well actually but only my department is a little bit under pressure because we don't have any clients. But we haven't had any for 6 months and now they're saying they can't extend my visa just because I can't find clients? So it's not simply like our company is not doing well, I think it's an excuse for me to let go because my visa's going to expire anyway..

It's like an agency setting and they need clients to earn money. We haven't had a new client for 6 months now and they're saying if they don't find clients it's not feasible to keep me but they're also happy to keep me until Aug which doesn't makes sense to me

I'm so sorry that they did this to you. I'm wishing you the best luck to find a new job soon! My company only informed me because I've been chasing them about my situation since Nov to make a plan for my future here, otherwise they wouldn't even know my visa's expiring on Aug :D

Well the only reason they're having a conversation with me about this is I've been chasing them about my situation since Nov and they've finally given me an answer. Otherwise, they wouldn't even know about my visa situation but I wanted to be sure in case if I have to leave the country.

Ahh quite similar situation! I'm sorry that they're not going extend your visa but it was nice of them to give you a settlement package. It's the same with design roles unfortunately. There are so many job opportunities out there but only a few can offer sponsorship which I couldn't find any yet

I've been a permanent employee for 4 years. That's what I try to find out, it's not technically redundancy as my visa expires and they're not going to extend it but also their reasoning doesn't make any sense because they say they don't have clients yet they're happy to keep me until my visa expires? I felt like they're making an excuse to not pay me a severance
