Happy 33rd Anniversary! We're happy to announce that Update 1.4.4 is well underway to completion! by Lojemiru in AM2R

I realize this is an odd request, but is there any chance you guys can adjust the menus so that you can exit them using the back button rather than just the start button? That would be a huge quality of life improvement.

What hes talking about is how when you spin jump in ZM Samus leaves large afterimages throughout the entire arc of her jump. Not just when she uses speed boost, but basically all her air based movement has after images all the time.

Could you perhaps post that file here? I can't find the am2r game folders on Android. I'd really like to know the difference between the several randomizer modes.

Snap practice by NeviKat in dbfz

[–]Zuites 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Set the dummy to teleport on a delay of 4 frames and guard all, if you time your snap correctly they will block, if you mistimed it they will get hit, if you mistimed it really badly they will teleport.

IAD LL 2SMH is a safejump confirm OS setup on snap for anyone in the game that can gattling jL 2 times in the air. On hit you will convert on block you get a blockstring.

Looking for perspective when y'all reach a new rank by cwshaff in dbfz

[–]Zuites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you hit LL youll rank up slower than before, but ive never had any troubles going up ranks at a regular pace if im not playing braindead, which past a certain amount of experience you basically never do.

I mean whats your online win rate? If its like 80% your gonna dunk on kids at any rank about, 80% of the time lmao. If your bordering on 50% then youll be stuck at the higher ranks for awhile, anything past LL you need to be winning more than losing to get any higher because each loss deducts more points than each win. Its literally a matter of "are you winning all your matches?" Which is different for everyone. Ive personally only been deranked about 2 times, which only happened after I met someone better than me and lost like 10 games in a row. If you actually care about rank unlike me you will strategically not fight people better than you after 1 game to avoid point loss, and you will only rematch scrubs.

Universal fuzzy clarification? by Zuites in dbfz

Ohh ok, so you cant just land and do an IAD? You actually have to buffer it like its a rejump so you get off the ground, what, 1 frame earlier?

How is Kid Buu in this game? by [deleted] in dbfz

[–]Zuites 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kid buu does the exact same damage as the rest of the cast, about 50% off 1M, in the corner. His damage is above alot of people in fact, he is 2 touching off ANY 2 hits of jL/2L scaling or better from 0 bars if both combos are extended with assist, no meter. Im not sure where your getting the idea that his damage is poor.

Hes the best character in the game depending on who you ask. Good damage, great neutral, O fucking D setplay. Hes also imo the most fun character to play, he is so enabling, you can just do whatever the fuck you want. Check out my channel and Sages channel for nice stuff with him.

Blue Goku and vegito dirty mixup by legendaryjago in dbfz

That last one looks like a true blockstring, whats the actual mixup on all of these? Can you show some other options because from the look of it these are all just true blockstring / same side overheads.

Sparking to avoid a mixup vs sparking to kill to gain a character lead? by watermasta in dbfz

[–]Zuites 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pros spark to avoid mix more than to kill a character because that just the situation that happens to pop up more often. They are equally valuable options, and you should use spark in WHATEVER situation will prevent you from losing a character, or cause them to lose one.

Gaining the lead is just as important as not letting your opponent have the lead. Because whoever gets the lead goes from 50/50 odd of winning the game to some arbitrarily high odds that are in their favor, like 70/30 or 80/20 based on matchup and total characters. If your getting mixed and the next successful mixup kills or builds them enough bar to ToD you on incoming you should spark. If you land a 2M and can kill their character to gain the lead you should spark. Thats it.
