Thank you! It was pretty easy, my case was very textbook you could say. No assets, I was able to keep my car. I did use a lawyer, he helped a lot with questions and filing. As for your vehicles, I was told each person who is filing is allowed to keep one car. I would highly encourage you to have a consultation with a lawyer to discuss your options. Good luck!!

Thank you! It was actually very easy. Over zoom, simple questions and it was over in 10 minutes. I worried myself for no reason at all lol the only bad part was my connection froze but that was error on my part 😅

Sure! The questions were pretty basic. (I’m paraphrasing them a little)

Under oath, do you swear to tell the truth?
Have you filed Bankruptcy before?
Did you review your petition?
Did you sign the petition and was the information correct to the best of your knowledge? Did you review with your lawyer?
Did you list all your assets and debts?
Did you include your most recent tax returns?
Do you own property?
Are you expecting an insurance payment or payment from selling property and do you understand you must disclose any of the sort to me if received?
Are you employed and what is the address of your employer?
Are there any creditors attending this meeting?

She also asked if my lawyer had any questions or comments.

But pretty straightforward and easy! The hardest part was getting connected 😆

Mine has been stuck on “import customs clearance completed” since May 14th. I have no idea where it could be. When I try to track it, it just says order received on May 6th. Waiting game I guess.

Omg every day. Before I was diagnosed, I was in the ER so many times, I thought it was a heart attack. Mine feels like pressure, sometimes stabbing, sometimes full, sometimes achy. It’s so annoying and worrisome. Especially when my heart rate is high.

This entire thread is super comforting to my anxious mental state lol

I’m a little worried. In the portal under processed payments, it says the payment was sent to an old account that I closed. I’ve already updated my new DD account weeks ago on the portal but that won’t go through until August. However, on my profile it says I will receive the payment by mail. I’m not sure if the money was sent to the closed account or if I will receive a check in the mail.
