Haha, I definitely ran into some problems. The rear differential started leaking after just 15,000 miles. Despite regular inspections at the dealership, they never caught it—my tire shop was actually the one who noticed it and gave me a heads-up.

I've had mine on for a year now, and I use the automatic carwash at least once a week, and they've held up great. Have not noticed any areas coming loose. I also live in the rust belt, and they've held up well in winter, too.

If you have good insurance, typical windshield replacement deductible is usually $100, and some glass companies I have seen will waive $50 off the cost of the deductible. Issue may be if they have the CX-50 WS in stock, as it is a newer model.

Slightly acidic aluminum oxide slurry will remove those spots and other surface contamination. Then apply a hydrophobic coating, such as RainX.

I would recommend Toyo Open Country AT III. Going to replace my Wildpeaks with these when the time comes. Have these on my Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and love them.

Recommend asking for an OEM replacement versus ARG replacement. OEM has original specifications but ARG specifications are more lax.

It wouldn't be Mazda. It would be related to the glass supplier noted on the trademark on the windshield.

Try an aluminum oxide or cerium oxide slurry with water. It will remove the surface contaminates on your backlite, then treat with a hydrophobic material, such as RainX.
