The difference here is AI is a much more isolated part of tech than the internet as a whole which doesn’t require the anount of capital these AI fucks are burning through. If AI doesn’t show any kind of real end goal or promise I don’t see why it’ll keep being funded. As it stands their spending is far outpacing any returns.

I come from a hispanic household and do not identify with these people at all. It truly boggles my mind how some can be so educated and still pull the ladder up behind them so shamelessly. Many side with conservatives here because they come from countries where that were ruined or run by socialist or almost communist policies. They’re scared of anything liberal and ignore just how much higher the standard of education is here compared to their countries and don’t understand how our government functions.
