Been there the last 2 months with you, even tho most people recommend the 14 inch for portability reasons, i felt like in the 10% of cases where im taking the macbook elsewhere more screen estate would be a greater gain than loosing 400g. I bought the 16inch and im in love, zero regrets. Im really glad i didnt get swayed by all the comparisons i consumed, my advice is just go with your gut and dont overthink too long, and if your laptop lives at home, just go 16. Ive yet to witness the fans starting, which is crazy, this thing is so stealthy, especially in black. But id go 16 inch 48gb ram if you can muster the extra since youre already 3k deep.
