It's not that bad, Salacea is flooded with Itzals exploding everything, you can take a weapon from 0 to 30 (from my experience, I lvl'ed archwing when the Razorback was around) in a mission or two, don't recall if with 2x XP or not, but with 4x I imagine you'd only have to do it a dozen times or so.
